90 Day Fiancé Fans Slam Shaeeda Sween’s Marriage Advice

90 Day Fiancé fans are slamming Shaeeda Sween for marriage advice she posted on Instagram, along with her husband Bilal Hazziez. Shaeeda and Bilal have been a controversial couple since their debut on 90 Day Fiancé season 9. Shaeeda moved to Kansas City, Missouri to be with Bilal, leaving her home country of Trinidad and Tobago behind. Bilal, however, was concerned that Shaeeda might be using him for his wealth. Bilal rented an old work van to pick Shaeeda up from the airport in and then took her to stay the night at his old childhood home, later admitting it was all a prank.

In addition to Bilal pranking Shaeeda, some fans also felt that he treated her like a child. Bilal scolded Shaeeda for accidentally leaving a pin in his couch, and even called her a young lady. Bilal could also not give Shaeeda a straight answer on whether he wanted more children, which angered many fans. Shaeeda and Bilal have now returned for 90 Day Fiancè: Happily Ever After season 7, where they are still having disagreements. In the most recent episode, Bilal’s ex-wife Shahidah threatened to get physically violent with Shaeeda when she asked for an apology. While Bilal was present, he did not defend Shaeeda or intervene in the conversation.

Shaeeda recently shared a video on Instagram with Bilal, where she talks about how to be a good wife. In the video Shaeeda and Bilal are seen hugging and embracing one another at the bottom of the stairs. In the caption, Shaeeda lists out the steps to being a good wife starting with not bringing up issues that have already been acknowledged. Shaeeda’s second step consists of watching your tone and language when arguing. Finally, Shaeeda advises her followers to focus on the eighty percent that they have, as opposed to the twenty percent they do not have.

90 Day Fiancé fans on Reddit were not thrilled about the video, and even criticized Shaeeda’s advice. Reddit user u/ComfortableGlad2493 posted the video, writing “Gross. Girl you can’t win here, HE needs to change not you.” Many other fans in the comments expressed their criticism as well, with some saying Shaeeda and Bilal were too newly married to give any advice. Others commented that they were not buying this and felt that Shaeeda only posted the video for publicity.

The criticism is not a result of 90 Day Fiancé fans not liking Shaeeda, but because they do not like some of the behavior she tolerates from Bilal. Many fans feel that their entire relationship is incredibly toxic, mostly due to Bilal’s controlling nature. Some fans do not understand how Shaeeda can give Bilal so many chances, when he continues to act the same way and repeat the same mistakes.
