On this week’s episode, Gino and Jasmine got into another argument over him keeping secrets from her. Gino disappeared for hours after claiming “I’m done” and accused Jasmine of attacking him over and over again. While Jasmine had reasons to doubt Gino, she accepted that she didn’t want to give up on him so easily because she loves him and needs him. Jasmine refused to give up on their relationship even if Gino acted “weird and creepy” at times. This gave Gino the confidence to get down on one knee and asked Jasmine to marry him. Gino called himself the “luckiest man” and spoke about how this was the first step for him to bring Jasmine to the US.

Alas, it appears that Gino somehow thinks his marriage with Jasmine would end up in divorce because he has considered a prenup. A preview for the upcoming 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days episode showed Gino being nervous about bringing up the issue of a prenup because he’s sure that it would piss Jasmine off. Overall, fans mostly agree that even the mere thought of a prenuptial agreement crossing Gino’s mind is hilarious. Firstly, fans are wondering what assets Gino is trying to protect since he’s opened up about having financial difficulties on the show in the past. In turn, fans remember Gino refusing to pay “500 big ones” during a shopping trip with Jasmine while declaring him being out of work “for several months” had put him in a sorry situation.

Gino gifted Jasmine an electric toothbrush when he arrived in Panama and later revealed that it was also her gift for Christmas. When Jasmine confronted Gino about taking his exes on trips to Europe his excuse was that he had been unemployed for almost seven months. While buying an engagement ring for Jasmine, Gino chose the second cheapest one he could find. Gino called the $250 ring “gaudy” and went with the $270 one even though he knew how Jasmine liked the finer things in life. “I’m on a super budget, I’m not working right now. But it’s not the cost of the ring that matters, it’s the love that you have for each other,” Gino explained to the 90 Day Fiancé cameras. Fans expected Jasmine to throw a fit upon seeing the ring and although she figured it was cheap as she said, “I don’t know if it is a diamond or not,” she liked it because it “screamed Gino.

Still, there are a few 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days viewers who think that Gino is not really broke, but just miserly. This explains why his uncle brought up the prenup topic as soon as Gino informed him about getting engaged to Jasmine. After all, Gino had shelled out $2,500 for his San Jose trip with Jasmine when she threw a fit about his measly Christmas gift. He even has a job now apart from being a reality TV star which must be helping him earn a good amount of money. Jasmine, who allegedly got fired due to Gino’s ex reportedly sending her nudes to her workplace claims she’s putting food on the table for her family by creating Cameo videos and online content. It would have been easier for Gino to support Jasmine financially in her tough times. However, Gino not doing that shows why Jasmine signing a prenup is so important to him.
