Fans of 90 Day Fiance want to know what happened to Cassia Tavares after the show aired. For viewers, it is always fun to take a look back at some of the original couples to find out what they are up to now.

Jason Hitch and Cassia first appeared on 90 Day Fiancéseason 2. The duo met like so many others via a messaging website. As their relationship became more intense and they decided to pursue the K1-visa. Cassia, for her part, was appalled after arriving in the United States to find out Jason lived with his father and was actually frugal! The couple eventually tied the knot, but they did not enjoy wedded bliss for very long.

No surprise here that the Florida couple ended up calling it quits and got not one divorce but two. The duo separated in 2017 but got back together, only to divorce in 2018. The couple had a run-in with the law that showed Jason’s aggressive side, and Cassia decided she had enough. She chose to go back to school and graduated from the University of South Florida. But there is more to the pretty Brazilian than meets the eye.

According to the star’s Instagram, she has found her happily ever after after all. She married her Italian boyfriend, Giuseppe. In a touching post, she wrote, “We got married at the courthouse today!” Fans were thrilled that the reality star was able to move forward with her life. She is now residing in Italy, eating all the pasta she desires.

Cassia has always been a fan favorite of the franchise, so it makes sense that TLC fans are over the moon for her. After a shaky first marriage, it seems she has picked herself up and not only found love again but got a college education. Since her split from Jason, she has been a bit camera shy, but it is nice to see her back out in the world living her best life. Before she left the franchise for good, she did reveal to followers that the couples on the show are real, but each scene is heavily scripted, leaving fans to wonder if there is such a thing as reality TV couple’s finding true love or have we all been fooled?
