Ximena Morales is hiding a secret so big from Mike Berk on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days that could mean they won’t stay together after it’s revealed. Having lived as a single man for all his life, Mike finally got a girlfriend when he changed his location to Colombia on a dating app. Ximena was the most beautiful girl in the world for Mike, and he dreamed of making her his wife. So far, fans thought that Mike speaking two words in Spanish and Ximena knowing no English at all is what ends their relationship. But the biggest fear amongst 90 Day Fiancé fans has been Mike’s heart being broken, which is bound to happen once Ximena drops a bombshell on him.
The much-awaited face-to-face meeting between Mike and Ximena was an uncomfortable affair for those who witnessed it on-screen. The shy Mike was ridiculed by Ximena and her extended family, even though they were sitting in the house whose rent the American man was paying. Mike was laughed at for his useless translator, and Ximena’s dad doubted Mike’s intentions even though his daughter’s last boyfriend was a criminal. Meanwhile, Ximena seemed to be making excuses to not sleep with Mike, using her crying children. And when Mike and Ximena did spend the night together, she made fun of him and said his underpants were disgusting.
But that’s merely the tip of the iceberg of ways in which Ximena is fooling Mike on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. A preview of episode 5 posted by People shows Ximena spilling the “big news” that was teased during her introduction. In the scene, which shows Mike enjoying pool time with Ximena and her family, her sister Wendy asks how their “last night” was and if Ximena has told Mike that she can’t have kids. At that moment, Ximena embarrassingly says, “No” and adds that while she knows Mike wants to become a father, she “can’t have more kids.”
According to Ximena, she suffered a lot with her first two deliveries. “To have a child by Caesarean is the worst pain a mother could go through,” Ximena confessed to the 90 Day Fiancé producers. Because of her difficult pregnancies, Ximena decided to undergo an operation. “They cut my tubes and burned them,” Ximena said, while explaining that she’s probably had the tube ligation process done in which an electrical current is used to cauterize sections of the fallopian tubes. She also noted that it was done so that she “definitely couldn’t have more kids,” which could indicate that a reversal of the procedure is mostly not possible in Ximena’s case.
Ximena admitted that the revelation will come as a “hard blow” for Mike because he’s so excited to start a family. It hurts Ximena a lot, and she knows it was a mistake for her to not tell Mike about it before they started filming 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. In her defense, Ximena wanted to first meet Mike and break the news to him in person and not on the phone. And eventually, Ximena–who previously had a Freudian slip by admitting she loves her ex-boyfriend, who’s in prison, in the present tense–said that she “feels like” she loves Mike. It could be “fatal” for Ximena if Mike runs away, which is what fans have been praying for since the day they met him on 90 Day Fiancé.
