American Horror Story Confirms 21 Stars & Their Characters For Spinoff

American Horror Story confirms 21 cast members and their characters for the upcoming spinoff anthology series, American Horror Stories. Premiering in 2011, Ryan Murphy’s hit horror series has been one of the most popular shows on cable television throughout its 9 seasons. Its tenth season, subtitled Double Feature, is set to air on FX this August and will feature two stories, one set by the sea and one by the sand. While the original series features a different story every season, the spinoff will tell a contained horror tale in each hour-long episode.

With its premiere date quickly approaching, there have been plenty of teasers rolling out. Last month, a poster teased a return to the famous Murder House from season 1 of the original series, along with a mysterious Rubber Woman, a reference to the malevolent Rubber Man from seasons 1 and 8 of the show. The Rubber Woman appeared again in a trailer for the new series. It’s unclear if the character will appear in the series or is just being used in promotional material. Plot details are being kept under wraps and not much is known about the upcoming series other than a few cast members seen in a behind-the-scenes photo.

Now, American Horror Story is confirming 21 cast members for its spinoff series, along with the character that each will be portraying. The cast includes Gavin Creel as Troy, Sierra McCormick as Scarlett, Ashley Martin Carter as Rowena, Paris Jackson as Maya, Belissa Escobedo as Shanti, Kaia Gerber as Ruby, Aaron Tveit as Adam, Rhenzy Feliz as Chad, Madison Bailey as Kelley, Kyle Red Silverstein as Quinn, Amy Grabow as Tipper Gore, Danny Trejo as Santa Claus, and Virginia Gardner as Bernadette. The cast list and their respective characters were confirmed in a video posted to social media, though the names flash by a bit too quickly to read. Check out the cast announcement below:

Along with the newcomers listed above, the video also confirms a number of popular actors from the original series who will be returning for Stories, such as John Carroll Lynch as Larry Bitterman, Naomi Grossman as Rabid Ruth, Billie Lourd as Liv Whitley, and Matt Bomer as Michael. After a BTS photo posted by Murphy a few weeks back, it is now confirmed that Dyllon Burnside will play James, Nico Greetham is Zinn, Charles Melton is Wyatt, and Kevin McHale will play Barry.

The cast is a mix of newcomers and returning AHS actors, which should be more than enough to get fans of the original series amped up for the spinoff. While this list of actors and character names doesn’t reveal all that much about the upcoming season of American Horror Stories, it seems Ryan Murphy would like it to remain that way, saving all the surprises for when the new anthology series airs on July 15.
