Every Among Us Hat Ranked From Cute To Sus
Above is a scatter chart with four poles, and each pole indicates a different quality a hat in Among Us might have. The x-axis (left and right) indicates how cute or sus a hat is. The farther left a hat is placed the cuter that hat is determined to be, and the farther right it is placed shows how sus (Among Us slang for suspicious) that hat appears. Wearing hats like the Plant, Balloon, or Crewmate in Among Us put off a sense of vulnerability, and as such, heroic players may attempt to protect them. This little sprout of green leafage is commonly worn by popular streamer Sykunno who is rarely ever suspected of being the Impostor due to his docile nature. The plant is also a pretty good depiction of something young and innocent that other players may want to protect. It’s not too silly and gives off a positive chill vibe that may cause skeptical players to swerve in a different direction.
A close second for the cutest hat has to be the Angel Halo. While it’s a cliché for a Halo to represent purity, it’s a sentiment that can influence players’ decisions. A lot of people use the Angel Halo as a subconscious shield, and it can tend to be on the boring side compared to other hats. That’s not a bad thing in Among Us, as players can tend to look over others who wear the Halo, but the user won’t be winning any fashion contests.
It’s hard to decide which Among Us hat is the most sus, as a lot of the hats on that side of the chart are used by famous streamers who are deadly Impostors. However, because of its innate connection to a famous horror villain, the Hockey Mask takes the crown this time around. There are various other masks in Among Us that look pretty sus, but the Hockey Mask oozes creepy vibes. Even if a player sees a Hockey Mask wearer complete a task, they still might avoid them because of their unsettling costume choice.
While not as sus as the Hockey Mask, the bandana is one of the worst hat choices a player can pick. Not only is it one of the most boring hats available, but it also screams sus. Sure, its level of boringness may allow the player to slide under the radar for a while, but the player will also stick in the back of others’ heads as one shady-looking crewmate.
Everyone is going to view hats differently, meaning some of the most sus hats may be appealing to players while others are repulsed by the same hat. There’s also more to Among Us than how a player dresses, but physical appearance is the first impression a player will have on their crewmates. Stick to the chart, dress cute, and avoid the sus-looking Crewmate lingering by the vents.
