The Apple Watch Series 6 is the latest smartwatch to come from the iPhone-maker and it also happens to be the most colorful smartwatch series ever released by Apple. Due to this, picking up a new Apple Watch in 2021 not only involves selecting a size and band material, but also picking a color as well. Here’s an overview of the choices.
Apple launched the Watch Series 6 in late 2020, but it was not the only one that arrived. Apple also unveiled the all-new Watch SE at the same time and while it doesn’t come with as many features, design tweaks or colors as the Watch Series 6, it is much cheaper overall. The price of the cheapest Watch SE starts at $279 and this compares to the Apple Watch Series 6 $399 starting price for the GPS version and $499 for the GPS + Cellular models.
Besides the additional premium tech features, the Watch Series 6 also does come with a greater selection of colors to choose from. When Apple announced the Watch Series 6, it specifically took the time to note how it’s Apple’s “most colorful collection yet.” Essentially, Apple offers four primary case colors and these are the usual Silver, Space Gray, and Gold, along with a new Blue color option. Besides these colors, there is also a (PRODUCT)RED version of the Apple Watch Series 6 featuring a red casing and matching band. Again, these are just the main and most common color options, as Apple also offers other color choices for those considering picking up one of the additional models. For example, a Graphite stainless steel case or a Space Black titanium case, as well as specific colors for Apple Watch Nike and Apple Watch Edition models as well.
Case Color Chosen? Now The Color Choice Really Begins
Once the right color case is chosen, there’s still the issue of picking a smartwatch band. Apple offers a number of band types, including various Loop bands (Solo, Braided, and Sport), as well as general Sport, Leather and Stainless Steel bands. All of which come with their own color options as well. For example, the Solo Loop band is available in no fewer than ten color options, including Cantaloupe, Kumquat, Pink Citrus, and Pistachio.
