Bachelorette: Andi Dorfman Says She Would Pick Chris Soules In a Redo

In a recent interview the former Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman, revealed she would have given Chris Soules her finale rose if she could have a redo. In 2014, Andi choose Josh Murray as her final pick during her season. The couple broke off their engagement just a few months after the finale aired.

Andi was The Bachelorette several years and has never been back for a third chance at love. She first joined the franchise when she competed for Juan Pablo on The Bachelor, but she left him after she realized he was not the man she thought he was. When she became the lead Andi believed she found true love in Josh, but that relationship did not end perfectly either. After removed from the franchise for so long, she realized some mistakes she may have made while she was the lead.

During a podcast episode of Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn, the 33-year-old admitted she would not have chosen her final rose recipient or her runner-up if she had a chance to redo her season of The Bachelorette. “It would have been Chris Soules, who was third,” Andi revealed.“He was the guy I could go on a date with and I knew that we would have a good time. There wasn’t a ton of pressure,” the Georgia native said, adding that Chris was like a friend and her “safety blanket.” When it came down to her final three, Andi knew she had to remove Chris as her potential husband seeing as she saw him more as a safety net. Looking back Andi would not have chosen any of her final two or anyone else from her season, for that matter, other than Chris.

Andi was rumored to be dating her runner-up, Nick Viall, back in June 2020 after the pair met up for a run in somewhere in California. Nick debunked the rumor on his podcast, The Viall Files, claiming their relationship was strictly platonic and that “the only benefits that come from this friendship [are] conversation and running tips. ” Andi even joked during the beginning of the quarantine in March 2020, that she was “two days and/or three martinis away from texting all of my exes.” She followed up the caption in her Instagram Stories of a black group text chat with Nick and Chris. While she has thought about reconciling with her former flames from the show, Andi does not want to rehash an old relationship. Plus, most of the men who were in her top four went on to be The Bachelor.

As for if she would ever be The Bachelorette again, Andi would have to give the opportunity a hard pass. She had a good experience the first time and wouldn’t want to ruin it by going on it again. Even though it may have not worked out for her in the end, Andi still had fond memories of her time on the show.
