Below Deck: Chef Rachel Made A Brief Appearance On America’s Next Top Model

Chef Rachel Hargrove from Below Deck made a brief appearance on Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model, during an early cycle of the popular show. Rachel is now making waves as Below Deck’s first female chef. Fans of the show want to see more of the Michelin-starred culinary pro.

Fans have become increasingly inspired by the chef, and according to Rachel’s Bravo profile, she attended the Culinary Institute of America. However, she feels that she picked up most of her cooking skills by herself. She later apprenticed at the Quatro Passi restaurant in Nerano, Italy. The Below Deck star has boasted that she can take on a wide range of cooking styles and dishes, from molecular gastronomy to gluten-free pasta. While she likes to practice yoga, according to social media, she comes across as severely stressed at times, which leads to some great one-liners.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

The recent Below Deck episode was one of the best out of the entire franchise, mostly thanks to Chef Rachel’s potty mouth. Screen Rant reported that Rachel was a contestant on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 4, so she is used to the reality TV scene. Check out her catwalk strut below:

The season took place back in 2005, when newsboy caps were in, along with denim jackets. Rachel briefly appeared during episode 1, when she auditioned for Tyra Banks. The episode is called, “The Girl Who Is A Lady Kat.” Rachel poked fun at herself and her ANTM experience when she shared a screenshot via Instagram. She captioned the post, “Hahaha oh 2005 I’m old.”

However, this little side job is not the only thing that Bravo fans are talking about when it comes to Rachel. Last night, fans watched as she let loose with her wild potty mouth after reading a preference sheet. The guests did come across as out of touch when asking for everything under the sun, but Rachel decided to draw a line in the sand. She even told Captain Lee to “Fu*k” himself. Rachel has now departed the vessel and left the crew high and dry. Captain Lee was (for once) at a loss for words, telling cameras that he never lost a chef this close to a charter. Fans can tune in next week to see if the charter guests are as bad as their demands made them out to be.

Below Deck airs on Monday at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
