Big Brother 21’s Nick Maccarone & Jack Matthews Leaked Racist Messages

An alleged group chat between the Big Brother 21 houseguests has leaked containing racist text messages from Nick Maccarone and Jack Matthews. The fans have long classified BB21 as a very problematic season. It started with the sudden eviction of David Alexander on week 1. However, the players’ controversial behavior persisted during the entire season. All in all, these allegations from the fans are mostly directed toward the dominant Gr8ful alliance, which consisted of Nick Maccarone, Jack Matthews, Jackson Michie, Tommy Bracco, Analyse Talavera, Christie Murphy, Holly Allen, and Isabella Wang.

In the end, the BB21 Final 2 consisted of Jackson and Holly… and Jackson took home the $500,000 grand prize after a 6-3 jury vote. Despite the competitive prowess of many of the contestants on Big Brother 21, the season was ultimately tainted by controversial statements and problematic behavior. Many of those situations were kept under wraps by production in an attempt to avoid further issues. However, the fans watching the Big Brother live feeds saw and heard it all. Now, a year after BB21, that alliance is being exposed once again for allegedly racist statements.

A group chat between the Big Brother 21 houseguests has been leaked by Twitter user @GamerVev. The chat includes Nick Maccarone, Jack Matthews, Kathryn Dunn, Holly Allen, and Jackson Michie. In it, Holly invites the group to a BB21 reunion at her family’s ranch. Nick responds with a claim that Jack would “come and shoot something and it’ll be black.” Kat tries to redirect the conversation from potentially racist statements, prompting Nick to defend himself: “I didn’t mean on purpose I meant people would make it into that.” However, Jack doubles down on the inferred meaning of Nick’s messages, saying that he would “turn the gun sideways!!! KILLSHOT.” Nick then seemingly calls Jack’s messages “the funniest thing [he] ever read.” The veracity of these messages was first put in question by the fans. But Kat quickly took to Twitter to confirm that the messages are true and claim that she has left the group chat in July.

This has been a very busy week for Big Brother alumni on Twitter. With BB22 going on, it seems like the houseguests are inspired to grow their social media presence and provide commentary for the ongoing season. On the other hand, some of the situations happening during this period of time have nothing to do with All-Stars… but are nonetheless important revelations about former BB players.

Kat has confirmed that these text messages are real, but the fans are still going to monitor whether Nick, Jack, or other Big Brother 21 players will respond to these leaks and allegations. With that said, there is a chance that they might move on from this controversy and pretend like it never happened.
