Big Brother: The 10 Best Female Players, Ranked

When it comes to the show Big Brother, you’ll oftentimes find male winners at the end of the game. It wasn’t until Big Brother 18 that a woman beat out a man in the finals. However, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t a ton of women who could smoke any and all of us who would dare try and go against them in this game. Today, we’ll be going over the top ten female players of Big Brother. Let’s get right into it at number ten.

10 Alison Irwin

When it came down to the final two ladies of Big Brother 4, the jury voted for Jun Song to win purely because she was the lesser of two evils in their eyes. Both of the players played ruthless games, and Alison was one of the most powerful players of the season.

She had men wrapped around her finger at every turn, and was constantly in a strong alliance, surrounded by powerful players that were also big targets. She also won four competitions during her time in Big Brother 4, not bad. Her lackluster performance on All Stars is what puts her at number ten on the list.

9 Kaycee Clark

There’s certainly something to be said for competition wins in Big Brother, and Kaycee was an absolute monster during her time on BB20. She won competitions constantly throughout the second half of the season, and was always in power in one way or another.

She even managed to tie-up a few records for most Veto wins in a season. While it’s arguable that Tyler played a better social game than her, she had a positive relationship with everyone in the jury, which ended up securing the win for her.

8 Rachel Reilly

“This Big Brother list is supposed to be fun and good!” Winning every single endurance competition you’ve ever been a part of is no joke, but Rachel is one of the only Big Brother players to have that claim to fame. The player has quite a reputation for being somewhat of a drama queen, but when it gets down to it, she’s an absolutely fantastic player who knows the game well.

While she went out early in Season 12, she managed to form a strong alliance in Season 13 that eventually ended with her in the winners’ chair. When you’re in a season with Rachel, you’d better grab a life vest.

7 Daniele Donato

Daniele Donato is most well-known for being a power-duo with her dad, Dick Donato, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t a power player in her own right. She won seven competitions in her first season (and two more in her second), which is the only reason she and her father made it so far in the game.

Besides being a competition beast, she’s also had a good social game both her seasons. She managed to take out Brendan Villegas not once but twice. That’s some dedication right there.

6 Nakomis Dedmon

Nakomis was a great player who got bogged down by a very personal twist in her first season. She always had a great team around her and was the ring leader of her alliance. However, the main reason she makes it on the list is due to her being the first-ever person to come up with the idea of a backdoor, or as she called it, “The Six Finger Plan.”

This method of elimination is now one of the most used in the game, and without Nakomis, it would have never come into existence. Now, literally none of the actual targets are ever nominated for eviction, making things less predictable.

5 Amanda Zuckerman

Say what you want about Amanda (don’t worry, everyone does), but you can’t say that she isn’t one of the best women to play the game. While she only ever won one Veto competition, she controlled the entirety of Season 15 up until her eviction. She was in everyone’s ear, and had a hand in every single eviction up until Andy betrayed her (surprise surprise).

She certainly made enemies, but the impact she left on her season is still felt to this day.

4 Maggie Ausburn

Another hated player (please don’t send death threats to people on TV, that’s not nice), Maggie won season six with ease. She was the reason that the Sovereign Six alliance crumbled, as she convinced Howie that the right move to make was putting up James and Sarah, his own alliance members.

This ultimately sent the group into a spiral, which allowed The Friendship to take control. From that point onwards, she had great jury management that allowed her to take the win over Ivette.

3 Vanessa Rousso

Have you ever cried so much that you were able to build a small raft and row your way to the final three of Big Brother? Well, that’s what this player managed to do in Big Brother 17. She controlled almost every eviction in her time in the house, and won seven competitions as well.

A physical and mental threat, Vanessa used her skills as a poker player to devastate the competition, and had no problems making her way to the final three. If she had made it to one of the final chairs, she would have certainly won the game over both Liz and Steve.

2 Janelle Pierzina

The gap between first and second place in this list is small, but ultimately Janelle Pierzina ends up at number two on the list. While her season 14 outing wasn’t great, she was an absolute competition master in her first and second season, breaking all sorts of records between the two.

She currently stands as the player with the most competition wins of all time. She was constantly under the threat of elimination due to her notoriety as a powerful player, and had to rely on her competition wins to take her far in the game. While she’s never made it to the final two seats, she ended two of her three seasons with the bronze prize. Not bad.

1 Danielle Reyes

When it comes down to it, Danielle Reyes is the best female Big Brother player of all time, and one of the best players, period. She was a strategic powerhouse in her first season, and her second to a lower degree. Despite this, a bitter jury was formed due to the jury being able to see Danielle’s Diary Room sessions.

The attitude she displayed was hated by the Jury, and this ultimately led to the sequestering that we see nowadays. Had this not been the case, she likely would have walked away with the grand prize.
