Bling Empire: Kim Lee Gets Upset if Kevin Doesn’t Text Back Quickly

The season one finale of Netflix’s Bling Empire left some seriously loose ends. Cherie Chan proposed to Jessey Lee. Kelly Mi Li went late-night-knocking on her abusive, toxic ex, Andrew Gray’s front door. Christine Chiu never gave Dr. Gabriel a firm yes or no on giving Baby G a baby sister. Kevin Kreider and Kim Lee left the season closer than ever, and, from the looks of their body language at Jevon’s 100 Day party, this close to hooking up.

At the start of season one, it was well documented that Kevin had the hots for Kelly Mi Li, who was well entrenched in her on-again-off-again longterm relationship with the former red Power Ranger. When Kelly “officially” called it quits after some intense couples therapy, Kevin saw his window and attempted to make his move. He tried to play it right, determined not to wind up the rebound guy or the friend-zoned guy. In the end, he wound up neither, and it was honestly kind of awkward because everyone knew that Kelly was still making out with Andrew in secret. While all that was unfolding, however, Kevin and Kim started to bond over their mutual struggles with identity and family. Kevin, who was adopted, never knew his biological parents, and Kim’s biological father left when she was just a young child, never to be seen or heard from again. They understood each other’s pain and were there for each other. And Kevin, who was so disgusted by Kim throwing Anna Shay’s penis pump out of Anna Shay’s window that he straight up asked Kim if she was “raised bywolves,” began to see Kim in a whole new light.

In a recent interview with E!’s Daily Pop, Kevin and Kim were questioned about their relationship status. Kevin let Kim take the lead. Kim admitted that the two “have not kissed yet.” Oh that “yet.” Such a tease. The two continued to poke fun at each other in a super flirtatious way, teasing each other for being the more interested party. Kim admitted to the flirting and insisted that it was Kevin who calls her every single day. A statement to which Kevin retorted, “No! You’ve been calling me every day. She gets so upset if I don’t call or text her back right away.” The cuties also joked about the constant threats of breaking up when they’re not even together.

Mmmhmm, seems like both parties doth protest too much. If there’s money to be bet, place it on these two hooking up if we ever get a Bling Empire season 2, because where there’s smoke there’s fire. With any luck, it’s only a matter of time before Netflix orders more episodes and Kevin and Kim make it official.
