Borderlands 3 Guns, Love, & Tentacles: Rare Spawn Locations

The game combines open-world, loot-oriented gameplay with a smooth, responsive, and satisfying gameplay. With a variety of interesting, guns, characters, locations, abilities, and a variety of other systems in the game, players are spoiled for choice. With the recent release of the Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC players have plenty more places to explore and enemies to defeat.

Among the systems brought back into Borderlands 3’s DLC is the Rare Enemy mechanic. This system introduces a variety of new rare enemies for players to defeat. After defeating these enemies players will be able to gain a variety of new and powerful loot to use. These enemies are as deadly as they are hard to find, making them a challenge for even the strongest players. This guide will illustrate where these rare enemies are located within the map of Guns, Love, and Tentacles.

Where to Find Amach in Borderlands 3 Guns, Love, and Tentacles

The first rare enemy within Borderlands 3’s latest DLC is the enemy, Amach. This enemy will be the closest at the beginning of the map of the DLC and should be on the top of your list to defeat.

Amach is found in the Cursehaven location close to the Lantern’s Hook location in the area. He is equipped with 1 shield bar and 2 health bars while possessing a variety of abilities that excel at fighting from a distance. Including his 2 floating orbs surrounding his person.

Where to Find Fungal Gorger in Borderlands 3 Guns, Love, and Tentacles

The second rare enemy to be found is the Fungal Gorger. This creature is located within the Cankerwood location and will require a long walk before you find the area he spawns in.

As you approach the Fungal Gorger, make sure to use the save station directly in front of his spawning area. This will allow the process of grinding the monster to be extremely easier. Utilize incendiary weaponry to dispatch of the large enemy in no time.

Finding Shiverous the Unscathed in Borderlands 3 Guns, Love, and Tentacles

Shiverous the Unscathed is found in the Negul Neshai locations in Borderlands 3. This ice dragon is both a pain to do battle with and drops incredibly powerful loot.

Luckily his spawn point is incredibly close to the beginning of the map. However, as you approach where his spawning area is if you continue past where he resides you can find a save station, making farming the dragon a much easier process. After you find where the Dragon resides be sure to avoid using slow-moving projectiles, as he is too fast to hit with them. He will swoop down and unleash a powerful ice breath if players are not careful. So take your time and slowly defeat the creature and reap the benefits.

Where to Find Voltburn in Borderlands 3 Guns, Love, and Tentacles

The final rare enemy within Guns, Love, and Tentacles, and is found in the same area as Shiverous. This is the hardest of the rare enemies and will put even the strongest player’s skills to the test.

After defeating Shiverous, run to where you had to activate a giant turret in Negul Neshai, this is where Voltburn is located. When facing Voltburn, he will periodically create ghost-like versions of himself while also possessing the ability to turn himself invisible. Be sure to utilize Shock weapons in order to deal the most damage the Voltburn, and before you know it you will have defeated all the rare enemies within Borderlands 3.
