Celebrity Call Center: Reza Farahan Doles Out Cheeky Dating Advice

Let’s say you’re a 27-year-old virgin seeking advice from Celebrity Call Center and Shahs of Sunset’s Reza Farahan takes your call. The caller wants to know if she should tell men about her chaste state. The caller is presumably familiar with Farahan and his tendencies to be a tad bit raw, but how prepared are you for his bawdy response?

Celebrity Call Center is a game show based on a successful same-name television series in Britain. The pre-recorded half-hour American version of the show premiered on the E! channel last month. The concept of the show is for regular civilians to call into a celebrity-oriented call center to get advice from their favorite luminary. Celebrities use humorous anecdotes and personal experiences to offer their perspectives on fun and carefree topics like relationships, work, friends, and family. Individual callers will only get advice from one celebrity. Celebrity Call Center is completely unscripted, so celebrities will have to think fast on their toes and dig deep for some sage wisdom to dole out. An interesting part of the show’s production is that all episodes are self-shot due to production shutdowns caused by the pandemic. The celebrities film themselves from their webcams and callers don’t get any screen time. The show plans to only film eight episodes in the first season. Celebrity participants include the Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie), Todd Chrisley, from Chrisley Knows Best, Terry and Heather Dubrow, he from the show Botched, and she an alum from the Real Housewives of Orange County, NeNe Leakes from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, and actress Alyssa Milano.

As for Farahan, Hollywood Life reported he doesn’t shy away from asking the hard questions to give the caller a thoughtful response. His inquiry into the exact nature of New York girl’s virginity is a bit risqué to write, but he basically asks if her virginity is ambidirectional, from a geographical perspective. In her response, she characterizes her virginity as “…the science of it.” Getting an equal earful of Farahan and New York girl’s tete-a-tete is Celebrity Call Center cast member and producer, Nick Cannon, and Vanderpump Rules’ Jax Taylor, who listen in on the call.

Farahan tells New York girl, “Here’s what I would say: do not tell these men,” adding that she should wait to tell them post-deed, and then fete the occasion. He further explains the reason she shouldn’t tell the men. “No matter what you do, you’re going to give somebody a complex. There’s no easy way to let someone know they’re going to be the one and not make them feel some sort of way,” he said.

Solid gold responses are what the producers are undoubtedly seeking, particularly among awkward questions, and Farahan doesn’t disappoint. It will be interesting to see if the celebrity advice to callers is compelling enough for a second season. With today’s celebrities weighing in, you can guarantee many of their responses will provide great insight into the more unseen aspects of their personalities. Buckle up Toto, we’re definitely not in Kansas anymore.
