1/3 of the Charmed Ones, Piper Halliwell can be considered as the caring and giving sister of the three. Being the middle sister to her siblings, she acts as a buffer in some situations and a listening ear for others. She is, of course, one of the most important characters of the show, and as such, plays a large role in Charmed.
Piper’s journey consisted of saving the world and keeping the magical world in balance. However, she also experienced several real world and nonmagical setbacks. She wasn’t afraid to say what was on her mind and being such an essential character in the show, she had a lot to say, leading into some funny and real quotes about love, loss, grief, and the struggles of just being a Charmed One.
Every Breakup Deserves Some Time Off

It’s pretty hard to find love when Piper is one of the most powerful witches in the universe, and no one understands this better than her equally powerful sisters. However, this can sometimes get lost in translation for others, and they need a little reminder that they are still human and not immune to heartbreak. Some can consider these relationship woes as a few things wrong with the Halliwell sisters, however, they’re still human.
In season 3 episode 9, Piper is stressing about her 10-year high school reunion and after Prue offers to help her find something to wear, Leo suggests that they also include Phoebe. This leads to Piper letting Leo know that Phoebe might just need some alone time after finding out Cole was a demon and ultimately having to vanquish him.
Maternity Clothes Are Important For A Fighting Witch

It’s hard to find maternity clothes that are flattering and fit just right. It’s either something that fits but it’s hideous or it’s beautiful and it doesn’t fit, and this goes for shoes as well. However, this dilemma only grows for Piper since she is a pregnant witch that must fight demons daily.
In season 5’s tenth episode, Piper is shopping for some maternity clothes that don’t look hideous, and while she’s trying on clothes, a store attendant comes by to say she looks “adorable.” In response, Piper asks if she has anything gray or black that would go with combat boots for a mom to be that “kicks ass on occasion.”
Leo And Piper’s Love And Hardship

From the start, Piper and Leo’s love faced tremendous obstacles and higher power intervention. With Leo being a white lighter and Piper being one of the world’s most powerful witches, it seemed their love was doomed to fail from the start. No matter the circumstances they always tried their best to secure their happily ever after (and sometimes that proved harder than most).
In season 5 episode 22/23, the world and the Charmed Ones come under the threat of old Gods looking to rid the magical world of the Elders and take over the heavens. When they are halfway successful, it’s up to Leo and the sisters to change things. So, with half the elders dead, Leo evolves into an elder, leaving him to abandon the sisters, Piper and their son Wyatt. In this quote, Piper lets Leo know that he can’t take her pain of him leaving away and he can’t make her forget him, because that’s just impossible to do.
No Time Off For The Charmed One’s
“We Barely Got Through The Funeral And […] We Haven’t Had A Chance To Mourn Yet. And That’s Not Right!”
Losing a loved one is hard, especially when it’s a sibling you’re extremely close with. There is a time for grief and mourning, however, it can be devastating when you can’t bring yourself to let them go or you’re not given the time to come to terms with their loss. This is the case when Piper and Phoebe lose Prue and aren’t able to grieve properly.
Prue’s death is probably the most saddest moment in the season 3 finale, however, it only gets sadder at the beginning of season 4. In the season 4 premiere, Phoebe and Paige are finishing up Prue’s funeral when a demon attacks the sisters at their most vulnerable time. Piper is not too happy with this and lets it be known that this disruption and disrespect is not right when they haven’t even had the chance to fully mourn and grieve Prue’s loss.
Witches In Denial

Believing in the supernatural and magic can be unbelievable for many, especially when finding something that tells you that not only is the supernatural real but you’re a part of this world as the three most powerful witches to ever be born.
When the sisters discover the Book Of Shadows in their attic and the fact that they are powerful witches, it comes as a shock for them all, and Piper seems to be the one to fight against the possibility the hardest. As a result, Piper sarcastically replies to this prospect of them being witches with this quote.
Special Help From Unborn Baby Wyatt
“I Think My Half-Whitelighter Baby Thought That Fireworks Would Be Prettier Than Demon Guts”
Being one of the most powerful witches ever and becoming pregnant by a higher being like a Whitelighter, the child being born is more than likely to be someone special with special abilities. After becoming pregnant with Wyatt, Piper and Leo knew that their son would hold some special powers once born, however, they don’t think they knew just how powerful he would be when he began to affect Piper’s abilities from the womb.
In season 5, episode 4 of the series, when the sisters are tasked with vanquishing a demon, Piper attempts to blow the demon up and this leads to an explosion of fireworks instead of demon guts. This development is all thanks to Wyatt altering his mother’s powers from the womb.
Every Family Is A Little Chaotic, Even Magical One’s
“This Whole Family Needs A Shrink”
Every family is a little chaotic and every family has its unique brand of chaos. The Halliwell family is not immune to this. One life lesson fans learned from Charmed is that family is everything. However, even family can be a little bit sometimes.
The Halliwell family has a huge family tree that’s so dynamic. In season 6 episode 17, Piper sits on some stairs as Phoebe goes on about how she needed to find her husband “like yesterday” and Piper states that the whole family needs a shrink in a funny manner that seems to playfully acknowledge that though their family is powerfully magical, they say and do things that are abnormal for outsiders.
Losing A Sister
“She’s Been There My Whole Life. I’ve Always Had A Big Sister, And I Don’t Know How To Live Without One”
Piper’s relationship with her sisters is everything to her. They’re her rock and her family, and their bond and the power of three was something that couldn’t be broken, no matter how many times people had tried. However, that almost proved to be false when Prue was killed by Balthazar, and Phoebe and Piper were left to grieve their big sister. This seemed to be taken the hardest by Piper, who just couldn’t fathom Prue truly being gone forever.
In one of the best Charmed episodes in the series, the beginning of season 4 saw Piper struggle with the death of Prue, and she vents this pain and acknowledges that she’s lost without her big sister and doesn’t know how to move on without her.
