Destiny 2: Festival Of The Lost 2021 Guide (Schedule, Masks, Armor, Rewards)

Festival of the Lost 2021 is officially underway in Destiny 2, continuing an annual tradition in the Last City full of rewards, masks, armor, and more. The Festival of the Lost is a limited-time event in Destiny 2 where players can partake in a special event quest and earn unique rewards. The Festival of the Lost runs this year from October 12 until the weekly reset on November 2.

While anyone can partake in the Festival of the Lost activities, new players have to progress far enough in the New Light campaign to escape the Cosmodrome and unlock the Tower. All players will also need to speak to Eva Levante in the Tower Courtyard to receive the “Gone But Not Forgotten” quest. This quest is how all players can unlock the Haunted Lost Sectors, and completing the quest earns them the new Jurassic Green Pulse Rifle. Jurassic Green is a Solar Energy Rapid-Fire Pulse Rifle, and it’s currently the only non-sunset Rapid-Fire Solar Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2.

Everything in the Festival of the Lost revolves around Spectral Pages, Candy, and Haunted Lost Sectors. Spectral Pages are earned by completing various activities throughout the system, such as Strikes, Crucible matches, and Gambit. Candy is the festive currency that players can use to purchase masks, Epic Mystery Grab Bags, and Mystery Grab Bags. Players can earn Candy through any activity while they wear a mask, and whatever they don’t pick up during that activity will end up at the Post Master. Epic Mystery Grab Bags reward players with three Enhancement Cores and a piece of Legendary Gear, so now is the perfect time to grind out those materials.

Festival Of The Lost 2021: Destiny 2 Event Rewards

Spectral Pages and Haunted Lost Sectors go hand-in-hand, as defeating the Headless Ones in Haunted Lost Sectors turns the Spectral Pages into Manifested Pages. Manifested Pages can be turned in at the Book of the Forgotten in the Tower. The Book of the Forgotten is filled with Destiny 2 lore, and every page redeemed increases the chances of receiving the Jurassic Green, Braytech Werewolf, and Horror Story weapons.

Braytech Werewolf and Horror Story are both Kinetic Precision Frame Auto Rifles, but their perk pools slightly differ from one another. Braytech Werewolf can drop with perks like Fourth Time’s the Charm and Vorpal Weapon, making it great for Nightfalls and other endgame content in Destiny 2. Horror Story has perks like Subsistence, Rampage, and Demolitionist, giving it a bit more utility in the general enemy-clearing areas.

These are all the additional rewards available in Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost.

  • Headless Horsepower Exotic Sparrow: Complete the “Masked Rider” triumph by purchasing all six masks from Eva Levante for Candy.
  • Beheaded Home Emblem: Complete the “Glint of Hope” triumph by revealing half of the pages in the Book of the Forgotten.
  • Headless Hues Shader: Complete the “Glint of Victory” Triumph by revealing all the pages in the Book of the Forgotten.
  • Roboraptor Hunter Armor Ornaments: Purchase in the Eververse for 1500 Silver or 6000 Bright Dust.
  • Psyceratops Warlock Armor Ornaments: Purchase in the Eververse for 1500 Silver or 6000 Bright Dust.
