Dancing With The Stars judge and former pro dancer, Derek Hough, announced the return of his Las Vegas residency, “Derek Hough: No Limit,” at the Venetian Resort. The original run of the show was scheduled to run from from Sept. 22 – Nov. 21, 2021, but Derek had to reschedule his last five November dates due to a breakthrough COVID-19 case. Derek performed those shows from Dec. 15 – Dec. 19. The residency is another achievement on Derek’s long list of successes. Derek is the only six-time champion of Dancing With The Stars, an Emmy Award winning choreographer, a singer, an actor, and a best-selling author. He began dancing when he was 11 years old in his hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah, and has not stopped since.
Derek’s high energy 90-minute show centers around dance and explores dance styles such as ballroom, tap, salsa, hip hop, and many others. A live band plays genres of music ranging from big band to rock-and-roll to tango, as a cast of dancers joins him on stage. There is truly “no limit” to what the show offers, as Derek even sings and plays guitar on stage. It was no wonder when Derek proudly announced that the shows in the original run were sold out. Derek’s girlfriend of six years, Hayley Erbert, is also part of the show, making it extra special for him.
In an Instagram post, Derek announced the return of the Las Vegas residency, “Derek Hough: No Limit,” and included a graphic of a poster of himself in three different poses from the show. Dressed in a tuxedo in one pose and dance clothing in the two others, Derek displays his infectious smile. He holds a microphone in two of the pictures. In the caption, he declared, “WE’RE BACK BABY! After last years incredible success we’ve decided to keep this Party going in LAS VEGAS !!!” Performances will resume at the Venetian beginning in May and running through September.

Derek continued the caption by saying, “I can’t wait to get back in there and put on an amazing show for you all. Here we go!!!” Based on the comments about the post, Derek’s fans are just as excited as he is for the return of the show. Some anticipated seeing the show for the first time, and others looked forward to returning to see Derek perform again after attending shows from the first residency. Tickets for the return of the residency go on sale this Friday.
