When Disney+ arrived in November 2019, the platform attracted children and children at heart. Other streaming services were prepared to compete. Hulu is partially owned by Disney, but the service still wanted to have something for a younger demographic.

Netflix also wants kids watching its shows. Both Hulu and Netflix are the places to go for Nickelodeon content and each has a respectable amount of shows from the past and the present.

33 Breadwinners – 2.4 (Hulu)

Breadwinners may have an embarrassingly low IMDb score, but hardcore fans can stream the animated series on Hulu. It focuses on two ducks operating a bread delivery service, and its two seasons aired from 2014 to 2016.

32 Planet Sheen – 3.0 (Hulu)

Hulu has the only season of Planet Sheen. This spin-off of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius follows Sheen to an alien planet, where he must embrace the culture and learn about its citizens. With the low score, it didn’t take off like its parent story.

31 Alvinnn! And the Chipmunks – 4.5 (Hulu)

Nickelodeon’s fresh version of Alvin has been around since 2015 and is still in production. Only two seasons of the legacy show are on Hulu. Alvin, Simon, Theodore and friends look like cute Memojis in this series.

30 Make It Pop – 4.8 (Hulu)

Hulu has both seasons of the 2015 – 2016 series Make it Pop. The K-pop-inspired show was about three girls who form a band while bonding as boarding school roommates.

29 Rabbids Invasion – 5.0 (Netflix & Hulu)

Nickelodeon’s Rabbids Invasion began in 2013 and is kind of creepy. Hulu has three seasons and Netflix has the fourth for those who enjoy the mischievous, beady-eyed rabbits.

Disney Channel and Nickelodeon have their copycat moments. Every Witch Way sounds a lot like Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place, but the main character discovers that she is a witch, not a wizard.

Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn is a fun show about quadruplets who have little in common. The four seasons are available on Hulu.

Bella and the Bulldogs was a 2015 – 2016 show about a female football player named Bella. Tweens may enjoy watching this fun series. It lasted for two seasons, but Netflix has only acquired one.

All three seasons of T.U.F.F. Puppy (2010 – 2015) are on Hulu. The show was created by Nickelodeon legend Butch Hartman. T.U.F.F. is the task force into which a labradoodle is recruited, and the dog must fight for what is right.

24 Sam & Cat – 5.6 (Netflix)

Sam & Cat was a Nickelodeon double spin-off of two hit shows – with Jeannette McCurdy as iCarly’s Sam Puckett and Ariana Grande as Victorious‘ Cat Valentine.

The separate characters came together for a brief series (2013 – 2014) in which they run a babysitting service.

23 WTS Academy – 5.7 (Hulu)

WTS Academy was another short-lived attempt at the world of wizardry. The school was supposed to be the place for witches and wizards, but the series only lasted for one season in 2015.

22 The Thundermans – 5.7 (Hulu)

The Thundermans was a 2013 – 2018 sitcom about a superhero family. It balanced the ordinary with the extraordinary and focused on sibling rivalry. Hulu has all four seasons of the far-fetched but creative live-action series.

Daniella Monet hosted Nickelodeon’s Paradise Run from 2016 to 2018, and Hulu has two of its three seasons. It was a beach-side competition show for kids. The reality-esque program even featured Nick celebrity competitors.

Victorious is often described as an attempt to compete with Hannah Montana, but no one lives a double life. The show ran from 2010 to 2013 and enhanced the careers of Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande. Though the series lasted for four seasons, Netflix numbers the run as three seasons and is missing a handful of episodes.

15 Hunter Street – 6.9 (Hulu)

Hulu has acquired two of the three seasons of Hunter Street. The family series deals with a boy named Max who searches for his foster parents after their mysterious disappearance. The Hunters solve a puzzle in each episode.

14 My Life As A Teenage Robot – 7.0 (Hulu)

Viewers will find all three seasons of My Life as a Teenage Robot on Hulu. Just like it sounds, the story is about a teen robot who must be a hero and a kid at once. The show aired from 2003 to 2007 and could have easily been inspired by Disney’s Kim Possible or Cartoon Network’s The Powderpuff Girls.

13 Harvey Beaks – 7 (Hulu)

Hulu has both seasons of Harvey Beaks (2015 – 2017), a Nicktoon about a bird and his friends who live in a forest. While nostalgic Nick adults might not have a clue about this one, it might be fun for children whose parents have Hulu subscriptions.

Hulu has all three seasons of Butch Hartman’s Danny Phantom (2004 – 2007). In the successful animated series, Danny suddenly has superpowers and turns into half ghost, half boy.

It is safe to say that the cartoon world loves a success story. It is not uncommon for blockbuster kids’ films to be turned into animated series, as is the case with Kung Fu Panda. The 2008 movie led to a series that ran from 2011 to 2016, and it is on Hulu.

Doug has a rare history of being both a Nickelodeon show and a Disney show. Doug Funnie’s adventures are therefore split between Hulu (four seasons) and Disney+ (three seasons) to reflect the switch in ownership back in the 90s.

Thirty years after the original classic, Hulu has Nickelodeon’s 2012-2017 version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The franchise is a favorite, and fans will be happy to stream these five seasons.

4 Glitch Techs – 7.9 (Netflix)

Glitch Techs is a Nickelodeon+Netflix collaboration, still in production. The first nine episodes, in which real kids fight video game monsters, are available.

3 Rocko’s Modern Life – 7.9 (Hulu)

Rocko’s Modern Life is a show for all the 90s Nickelodeon kids.

It aired from 1993 to 1996 and featured an Australian wallaby adjusting to modern life in America. Three of the four seasons are on Hulu.

2 Invader Zim – 8.3 (Hulu)

Millennials will be pleased to know that they can watch Invader Zim on Hulu. The popular early-2000s show is about Zim, an alien from planet Irk who tries to blend in as a human.

1 Avatar: The Last Airbender – 9.2 (Netflix)

The acclaimed quest of Aang the Avatar is available nearly in full on Netflix (about 10 episodes are missing). Fans will still be glad to relive the 2005 – 2008 adventures of elemental magic.
