Grand Theft Auto Cosplay Recreates Iconic GTA Vice City Style

A cosplayer from Reddit has recreated the iconic look of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, with a photograph that replicates the main character and the Miami-inspired city. The 2002 game was critically acclaimed when it was initially released and has become one of the most loved entries in the famous franchise. The setting has recently come back to the forefront, with numerous leaks suggesting the next Grand Theft Auto installment could be set in Vice City, although Rockstar has never confirmed where Grand Theft Auto 6 will take place.

A group of Redditors has already tried to compare the potential size of the Grand Theft Auto 6 map with Los Santos from Grand Theft Auto V, despite the fact that there is no official map information available. Using seemingly leaked details about the upcoming game, Redditors were able to calculate the potential size of the map using landmarks from Los Santos, with the measurements suggesting that the leaked map is significantly smaller in size.

Reddit user RealLiveLEE has posted an image online that shows a man dressed in a Grand Theft Auto: Vice City cosplay, giving him an almost perfect look of the game’s main character Tommy Vercetti. The photograph shows the cosplayer standing in front of a hotel that is also incredibly accurate compared to what is seen in the Grand Theft Auto title, with the same design and color scheme. Vercetti was first added to the series in the 2002 release and has become one of the most popular characters.

In other Grand Theft Auto news, Microsoft has seemingly revealed that Grand Theft Auto V will leave Xbox Game Pass in the near future. The title has previously left the service after making its debut in January 2020 but returned in April 2021. While the game has only been available for a short amount of time, this fits with Rockstar’s previous strategy when it comes to adding games to Xbox Game Pass, with titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 only being available for a few months.

With lots of speculation that the latest Grand Theft Autogame will take place in Vice City, it makes sense that fans are returning to the older game in various ways in anticipation of its release. Of course, the 2002 title is so popular that it is a regular choice when it comes to fan creations and cosplayers regardless of whether the setting will make a comeback in Grand Theft Auto 6.
