Here’s a look at all of the characters in I Want You Back and the cast who plays them. Charlie Day As Peter
Charlie Day leads the story as Peter, a retirement home VP who never takes any risks in life. Day’s prior experience with movies includes Dr. Newt Geiszler in the Pacific Rim films and voicing Benny in the LEGO Movie duology. Most famously, Day plays the illiterate Charlie Kelly on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Jenny Slate As Emma
Jenny Slate stars opposite of Day as Emma, a receptionist struggling to figure out what she wants to do with her life. Slate was featured as a cast member in Saturday Night Live season 35 and later played Mona-Lisa Saperstein in Parks and Recreation. Slate also has experience with voice acting and has voiced Tammy Larsen on Bob’s Burgers, Judy Tobin on The Great North, and Dawn Bellweather in Zootopia.
Gina Rodriguez As Anna
Gina Rodriguez plays Anna, Peter’s ex-girlfriend who wants more excitement in her life. Rodriguez is best known for playing the titular lead in the satirical comedy Jane the Virgin. More recently, Rodriguez has voiced Velma Dinkley in Scoob! and Carmen Sandiego in Netflix’s Carmen Sandiego.
Scott Eastwood As Noah
Scott Eastwood plays Noah, Emma’s ex-boyfriend who loves to stay fit and wants to be in a serious relationship. Eastwood’s acting credits include Suicide Squad, Invictus, and Snowden. Eastwood also starred in The Fate of the Furious as Little Nobody. Scott Eastwood is set to reprise the role for both parts of Fast & Furious 10.
Manny Jacinto As Logan
Manny Jacinto plays Logan, a middle school theater director and Anna’s new boyfriend. Jacinto is most famous for his role as Jason Mendoza on the NBC comedy The Good Place. Jacinto also played Shinobu in Belle and is set to play Fritz in Top Gun: Maverick.
Clark Backo As Ginny
Clark Backo plays Ginny, a celebrity pie chef and Noah’s new girlfriend. Backo is best known for her part in Letterkenny as Wayne’s love interest, Rosie. She has also appeared in more sci-fi-oriented shows, such as Supernatural and The Handmaid’s Tale.

Dylan Gelula And Mason Gooding As Lisa And Paul – Emma’s college-aged roommates who are tired of living with her. Gelula has played Ford in Chasing Life and Xanthippe Lannister Voorhees in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Gooding, meanwhile, is best known for playing Andrew on Love, Victor.
Luke David Blumm As Trevor – Trevor is a troubled youth Emma bonds with while trying to break up Logan and Anna. Blumm has had small parts in projects such as Watchmen, The Walking Dead, and The King of Staten Island. Blumm is also set to appear in the upcoming film Where the Crawdads Sing.
Isabel May As Leighton – A young girl Peter and Noah meet at a club. May played Katie Cooper in Alexa & Katie and Veronica Duncan in Young Sheldon. Most notably, she stars as Elsa Dutton in 1883.
Pete Davidson As Jase – Jase is one of Leighton’s friends in I Want You Back who gives Peter and Noah molly to try. Davidson has been on Saturday Night Live since 2014 and both starred in and co-wrote The King of Staten Island. Davidson is also set to star opposite Kaley Cuoco in the upcoming film Meet Cute.
