The Kardashians reality star Kourtney Kardashian and fiancé Travis Barker have now taken their relationship to another level by reportedly tying the knot while in Las Vegas. The couple started dating at the end of 2020 and made their relationship public in February 2021, but the two had already been sparking dating rumors at this point. Once the relationship was confirmed, the couple became known for their PDA, and Travis received kudos from fans of the Kardashian family as they felt Kourtney seemed happier in this relationship than she did in her prior one.
Before Travis, Kourtney was in an on-again, off-again relationship with the father of her children, Scott Disick. The two met in Mexico in 2006 and formed a romantic relationship shortly after. Their first breakup happened in 2009 when Kourtney found misleading texts to a woman on Scott’s phone, but they reignited the flame in their romance after their first son, Mason Disick, was born. Penelope and Reign Disick followed some years later, and after Reign’s birth, the pair split up again and even dated other people all while co-parenting their children. Despite not being together for a long while, Scott did not like the fact that Kourtney was dating Travis, and eventually, he unfollowed the Kardashian-Jenner family on Instagram.
Kourtney was not bothered by Scott’s disapproval of her relationship and now TMZ are reporting that Kourtney and Travis have gotten married in a Las Vegas chapel. After attending the Grammy Awards on Sunday, April 3, the two visited a chapel at 1:30 a.m. and had the ceremony conducted there. The two showed up at the chapel with security and their own camera crew as they did not want the chapel coordinators photographing them. Some may think this wedding was impromptu, but Kourtney and Travis having a marriage license disproves this. The Kardashian-Barker couple honored the Vegas wedding tradition by having an Elvis impersonator officiate the wedding; they actually insisted on it.
The wedding comes shortly after fans started speculating that the Poosh owner and reality TV star is pregnant. The star actually revealed she was trying for a baby and reports from the U.S. Sun state that fans also believe Kourtney and Travis held a secret gender reveal based on a live TikTok video from his daughter, Alabama. The video showed the blended family at a luau where there were pink and blue decorations. North West, Kim Kardashian’s daughter, was seen in the live video with pink braids while Penelope, Kourtney’s daughter, was seen with blue braids. The reports state that Alabama’s fixation on the decorations was what made them curious about the event. While at the Grammys, fans also thought Kourtney had a baby bump.
Though this is the first time The Kardashians star is getting married, this is not Travis’ first time. It’s actually his third marriage; he was previously married to Melissa Kennedy as well as Shanna Moakler, who is Alabama’s mother. This Vegas wedding will not be the only wedding celebration for the newlywed as it has been said that the couple will celebrate their marriage in several other ways. The couple has not made any posts or comments about their surprising marriage.
