Luke Wilson & Dolph Lundgren To Star In New Action Movie Best Man

Action movie legend Dolph Lundgren and Zombieland: Double Tap actor Luke Wilson are both set to star in the upcoming action film Best Man along with Scout Taylor-Compton. The film is being directed by Shane Dax Taylor, who previously directed Lundgren in Acceleration with Danny Trejo. The screenplay is written by C. Alec Rossel with a story by Daniel Zirilli.

According to THR, Best Man is currently filming and features a cast that also includes actors Nicky Whelan, Brendan Fehr, and Scott Martin. Best Man is being produced by Michael Slifkin, who previously worked on the action classic The Terminator, as well as the Bruce Lee documentary The Curse of the Dragon. Also producing are Scott Martin, Jack Sheehan of Archstone Entertainment, and Zirilli. Executive producers on the film include Matthew Helderman and Luke Taylor of BondIt Media Capital. Saban Films has acquired the worldwide rights to the action film.

Best Man is set on a remote resort amid a wedding where mercenaries take control of the property. The hostile invasion leads the groom, the best man, and their best friend on a journey to defeat the terrorists and save the hostages. Lundgren mostly recently appeared in box office hits Aquaman, Creed II, and will next be seen in Expendables 4 with Sylvester Stallone. Wilson is next set to star in the Netflix original Plus/Minus and recently appeared in Gasoline Alley, alongside Bruce Willis and Devon Sawa. Compton starred in both of Rob Zombie’s Halloween films, and will next star in the sci-fi film Chariot with John Malkovich.
