Married At First Sight: Why Noi Shouldn’t Have Signed On For Season 14

Noi and Steve managed to avoid most of the chaos that has impaired the other couples in Married At First Sight season 14, but fans aren’t sure that Noi belongs on the experimental dating series at all. Although Noi and Steve appear to be one of – if the not most – stable pair of newlyweds in season 14, Married At First Sight‘s audience claims that Noi is not prepared to be in a mature relationship, let alone a marriage. From her insistence that she and Steve live separately to her inability to compromise, here’s why Married At First Sight fans think Noi shouldn’t have signed up for season 14.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

For better or for worse, Noi and Steve have fallen into the background of Married At First Sight season 14 as the rest of the Boston husbands and wives have worked through enormous amounts of conflict. While Alyssa was breaking down on her honeymoon and Lindsey was shouting at Mark during the group’s bowling alley date, Steve and Noi were enjoying a fairly anticlimactic and traditional relationship. As season 14 has continued, however, Married At First Sight fans have become concerned that Noi doesn’t really want to be married at all. Despite her functional marriage, Married At First Sight‘s viewers think Noi shouldn’t have signed up for season 14.

At first, Married At First Sight fans claimed Steve would be the spouse to cause conflict in his relationship with Noi. Viewers claimed that it wasn’t fair for Steve to sign up for Married At First Sight season 14 without a stable job as Noi asserted that it was important that she start a family with financial stability. As the husband and wife have continued to grow, however, it’s become apparent to some fans that Noi might not have what it takes to be in a mature marriage and shouldn’t be on Married At First Sight to begin with. In the latest season 14 episode, for example, Noi shared that she wanted to live separated from Steve while they were still learning more about each other. Fans argue that if Noi wanted to take things slow, she shouldn’t have signed on for season 14.

In response to Noi’s aversion to living with Steve, one Reddit user complained, “I was so in Noi’s corner. Until she stated that she thinks they should live separately to get to know each other. What did she think this was?” Married At First Sight fans don’t think Noi should’ve signed up for an arranged marriage if she wasn’t willing to live with Steve. In earlier season 14 episodes, Noi has demonstrated that she might not be ready to be in an adult relationship as she has stormed out on Steve after she was asked to help cook his noodles. One fan simply put, “Noi is too immature for marriage.” Unfortunately, Noi likely wanted to be married to meet her family’s expectations rather than her own desire to be in a committed marriage. Noi might be realizing that she doesn’t have what it takes to star in Married At First Sight.

Noi was head-over-heels for Steve at the beginning of Married At First Sight season 14, but throughout recent episodes, viewers have become convinced Noi isn’t cut out for the experimental dating show. Based on her aversion to getting close to Steve and her emotional immaturity, Married At First Sight fans believe Noi shouldn’t have signed up for season 14. Unfortunately, Noi and Steve have become just like every other doomed couple in Married At First Sight season 14.
