Mr. Knight Costume Shown Up-Close In Moon Knight Poster

Disney+ has released a close look at Oscar Isaac’s Mr. Knight costume from the upcoming Moon Knight series. Marvel Studios is continuing to flesh out the MCU both on the big and small screen with the help of the Disney-branded service. While the interconnected universe has cast new spotlights on some of the older Avengers, the studio is also bringing multiple new faces into the MCU. Following Hawkeye’s Christmas-themed season, Moon Knight is the next show to join Phase 4 with Isaac portraying the titular hero.

Focused on Marc Spector, Moon Knight follows the story of a mercenary that suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder. This marks the first time a superhero property focuses on a main character with DID. From all the marketing material that Disney+ has been rolling out, Moon Knight is set to be one of the darkest MCU projects since the days of the Marvel-Netflix properties. Similar to the previous Marvel Studios shows, Moon Knight is being eyed as a limited series, with the upcoming season consisting of six episodes in total. While fans have already gotten a taste of Marc’s iconic Moon Knight costume, that won’t be the only suit that Isaac dons in the series.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Since Moon Knight will be exploring Marc’s various identities, the Marvel series will also feature his infamous Mr. Knight uniform. As part of a 30-day countdown to the series premiere, Disney+ has revealed a new poster for the Marvel Studios drama, giving fans a big close-up at Isaac’s alternative costume. Check out the full poster below:

Designed by Meghan Kasperlik and her team, the Mr. Knight suit is just as well-adapted as Marc’s traditional costume. This incarnation of the costume made its debut in Marvel Comics back in 2014 during Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey’s critically acclaimed Moon Knight run. As the Mr. Knight outfit garnered a lot of popularity, comic fans have been hoping to see the Disney+ series include it. Whether or not Marc will don any additional costumes throughout the limited series remains to be seen for now.

Even though Moon Knight may only have one season, Marc is likely being eyed to be a huge player in the MCU going forward. With someone of Isaac’s gravitas attached to the role, it’s safe to say that Marvel Studios have bigger plans for the character within their films and shows. It’ll also be intriguing to see how Moon Knight’s grittier tone potentially opens up for even darker MCU projects, whether it be in theaters or on Disney+. With less than a month to go, viewers will soon be able to see Marc’s MCU arrival as Moon Knight premieres on March 30.
