Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Release Date, File Size Revealed By Nintendo

The release date of the upcoming Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has seemingly been revealed by the official Nintendo website. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is an upcoming Super Smash Bros-like fighting game starring some of the TV channel’s biggest names. The game was revealed earlier this summer with an action-packed trailer, and fans are eager to hear more about the release, and find out when they can play it for themselves.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl‘s growing roster of famous characters already includes beloved faces from hit shows including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Wild Thornberrys, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Rugrats, though its box art shows silhouettes of more fighters yet to be announced. Players will be able to select their favorite character from the roster, master their moves, and compete against other Nickleodeon stars across a series of themed stages. Fans can expect to see an Aaahh!!! Real Monsters junkyard stage, as well as a SpongeBob pirate ship and more, with further characters and the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl‘s full stage list expected to be revealed soon.

While the developer of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has not officially announced its release date, Nintendo has seemingly leaked the news early. A release date of October 5 has been spotted on the Nintendo website, seemingly placing a firm date on the previously-confirmed fall launch window (via ComicBook). The website also lists the game’s file size as a modest 2.9 GB. It’s worth noting that an official announcement on either the launch date or the file size has not yet been made, and it’s possible the date could simply be a placeholder until a release date is confirmed.

Nintendo may have listed the release date ahead of time, but without official confirmation from the game’s developer or publisher, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl‘s launch date may not be set in stone. While Nintendo, Walmart, and Amazon (US) all show the same October 5 date, Amazon (UK) and UK retailer Smyths Toys are showing a later release date of October 29. This could mean the game is getting a staggered worldwide launch. Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation storefronts have yet to list a date for the release of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, and those eager to get their hands on the game should wait for official word on its launch.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is looking like a must-play for cartoon fans, offering a sizeable selection of characters to choose from. As well as some of Nickelodeon’s most famous characters, players will be able to fight as some arguably underrated heroes, including Lincoln Loud from The Loud House, Powdered Toast Man from Ren & Stimpy, and Danny Phantom. With more Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl characters to be revealed and a confirmed release date still to be announced, there’s lots for Nickelodeon fans to look forward to this fall.
