Real Life Beavis And Butt-Head Figures Are Suitably Horrifying

These Beavis And Butt-Head in real life figures are guaranteed to bring nightmares. Mike Judge held various jobs like programming fighter jet test systems or having a stint in Silicon Valley before moving towards animation. His shorts Milton and Frog Basketball would later form the basis for his cult comedy Office Space and Beavis And Butt-Head respectively. The latter focused on two horrid teenage losers who spent a typical episode mocking music videos or trying to “score.”

The image of Beavis And Butt-Head laughing at their television set made them unlikely cultural icons and came to define that era of MTV. They even received their very own movie spinoff with 1996’s Beavis And Butt-Head Do America, which also featured the voices of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. Outside of Beavis And Butt-Head, Judge’s other iconic animated series is King Of The Hill. This Fox sitcom ran for an incredible thirteen seasons, detailing the life of straight-laced propane salesman Hank Hill and his constant bemusement at the antics of his family and friends.

Some properties are custom-built for animation, and any attempt to turn them into live-action – take Dragonball: Evolution as a broad example – tend to result in disaster. A show like Beavis And Butt-Head could easily lose its charm if it made the leap to live-action too, so thankfully Judge didn’t attempt to do so with the 1996 movie. In 2012 make-up effects artist Kevin Kirkpatrick made some waves when he unveiled busts for what Beavis and Butt-Head could look like in real life – ensuring nightmares across the globe.

The real life Beavis And Butt-Head pictures display just how grotesque the two would in reality, right to the zits on Butt-Head’s face. Kirkpatrick made the duo for an art show in California’s CopraGallery, and he’s since worked on movies and shows like Westworld. Gruesome as they are, the Beavis And Butt-Head images display impressive attention to detail and totally capture the spirit of their animated counterparts.

Beavis And Butt-Head were briefly revived for an eighth season in 2011, but the show wasn’t renewed despite good ratings. Luckily for fans of the hapless pair, they’re set to return for two more seasons on Comedy Central, with Mike Judge returning to write and produce while once again voicing Beavis And Butt-Head. There’s also talk of a possible King Of The Hill revival – that will feature the character’s having aged in real-time since the end of the last season – but this has yet to be confirmed.
