RHOBH: Jamie Lee Curtis Praises Kyle Richards For Halloween Kills Role

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis praised The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards for her role in the movie Halloween Kills. The two first met in 1978 on the set of the original Halloween movie. Richards played the role of Lindsey Wallace, the child Curtis’ character, Laurie Strode, babysat. The reality star was asked to reprise her role in 2019 when the new film began production. Halloween Kills was scheduled to be released in October 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the release was pushed to October 2021.

The film was at the center of Kyle’s season 10 storyline last year as the movie was in the middle of production when she began the new season. While the news of the film was exciting, it seemed other storylines were more of a focus. Last season, some of the RHOBH ladies were at odds with Denise Richards, who quit RHOBH, as they felt she was lying about having an affair with former housewife Brandi Glanville. It seems Kyle was living two different captivating stories that year.

On Wednesday, Curtis took to Instagram to offer her Halloween Kills costar some love as the film’s premiere date is just around the corner. “Watching @kylerichards18 show her humor, strength and GREAT vulnerability was one of the many sweet treats of @halloweenmovie,” the 62-year-old wrote in the caption alongside a photo of Kyle as her character in the new film. “I carried her in the 1978 HALLOWEEN and now she is caring for these (s–thead) kids in the new film.” The actress went on to refer to Kyle as a “STRONG. SASSY. DROP DEAD (pun intended) GORGEOUS even when covered in mud and blood!” She concluded her caption with “Brava Bella!” The mother of four saw the sweet post Curtis wrote for her, and clearly, she was touched. “Aww Jamie […] Love you,” Richards wrote along with prayer hands and a red heart emoji.

Other fans then took to the comment section to express how excited they were to see the new horror flick. One fan praised the beautiful cinematography the film has to offer while also applauding Curtis and Richards for the work on the film. Another fan loved how the film was bringing some characters from the previous Michael Myers movies into this new generation of Halloween. Along with Curtis and Richards, Nancy Stephens is reprising her role as Nurse Marion Chambers, and Anthony Michael Hall is taking over the role of Tommy Doyle. The film is set to hit theaters and stream on Peacock on October 15.

Viewers of RHOBH are excited to see Kyle take a role she hasn’t played since she was nine years old. Curtis has offered Kyle her stamp of approval in the acting department, so Kyle must have given the performance of a lifetime. Hopefully, Halloween Kills won’t be the last role for the OG Beverly Hills housewife.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
