Monique Samuels appears to be teaming up with her replacement on The Real Housewives of Potomac to mock Candiace Dillard. As newcomer Mia Thornton engages in a public feud with Candiace, her old enemy is sharing her take on the matter. Given that Monique exited the show due to her nasty fight with Candiace, it’s no shocker that she finds amusement in watching Candiace quarrel with another cast member. It looks like Monique and Mia’s dislike for Candiace has formed some type of bond between them.
Mia is the newbie of Real Housewives of Potomac season 6 who filled the void that Monique left behind after leaving the show at the end of RHOP season 5. She and Candiace’s hair-pulling match led to a series of now-dropped lawsuits, court appearances, and a major rift in the cast. By the reunion, Monique showed up with a book of receipts aimed at Candiace and Gizelle Bryant. The creator of Not For Lazy Moms delivered one of the most scathing reads in Housewives history before officially departing the series. Now, Mia has entered the show and has not disappointed fans. Despite this being her first season, Mia is working her way through the cast sparking up feuds.
Mia’s newest feud with Candiace is spilling over onto social media, with Mia and Candiace sending out shady messages aimed at each other ahead of the most recent RHOP episode that revealed how their beef ignited. After Mia got to see Candiace make fun of her “big feet” on the show, the newcomer took to social media to return the shade to Candiace’s feet. “The nerve of some people. I’ll take my [big feet] over [crusty feet] any day,” Mia said in an Instagram post that included close-ups of her feet and one photo of Candiace wearing open-toes shoes. The public shade garnered a number of replies from viewers who can’t get enough of the Potomac ladies’ on- and off-screen drama.
With Candiace having a bad history with Monique, there were a number of fans who tagged her to Mia’s post asking for her thoughts. “I was minding my business, got tagged, and got to swiping. [Mia Thornton’s] savage for this and I’m not mad,” Monique said in a comment that was re-shared by @cocktailsandgossip. The move showed just how much distaste Monique still harbors for Candiace. Fans are still debating over their RHOP season 5 fight, with many feeling that Candiace got what she had asked for.
While others argue that Monique took things too far by getting physical, some feel like Candiace had repeatedly antagonized Monique over the years and brought this situation upon herself. Candiace has felt betrayed by current co-stars who sided with Monique despite Candiace being physically attacked. The Real Housewives of Potomacisn’t the same without Monique, but Mia is keeping the drama rolling. Candiace appears to keep gaining new enemies instead of friends.
