She-Ra: Each Main Character’s Most Iconic Scene

Since its arrival on Netflix in 2018, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power has taken pop culture fans by storm and still continues to inspire new viewers. The characters in The Horde and The Princesses of Etheria battle it out with each other and within their own ranks, leading to some of the best and worst moments in the show.

Individually, the characters go through their own internal journey as they find their role in life and for their friends. This is usually the reason that leads them to major decisions and iconic moments that either save the day or make everything take a turn for the worst.

10 Adora/She-Ra

It’s too easy to count all of her moments with Catra as iconic, but with Adora starting out as a Horde soldier, fans knew they were in for extensive character development. That said, her most iconic moment is an obvious one – when she first transforms into She-Ra, knowingly.

Her first mini-transformation into She-Ra was sudden and led to an inquisition for the main trio of Adora, Bow, & Glimmer about what just happened. But when she finally exclaimed, “For the honor of Grayskull,” and transformed with purpose and magic all around her, it was a moment that would be relived throughout the series.

9 Catra

Catra’s best line throughout the show is the ever-powerful and drawn-out, “Hey Adora.” But out of all the times she teased Adora, as either friends or enemies, nothing tops season 5, episode 13 when she finally proclaims her love for Adora.

Adora wants to sacrifice herself for the good of Etheria and when Catra won’t leave her side, Adora wakes up and admits that she’s loved Catra all along. A close runner-up is when Catra saves Glimmer from Horde Prime.

8 Glimmer

As the current Queen of Bright Moon, Glimmer went through a lot to reach the point of her coronation. Although she is short-tempered and stubborn, she is also enthusiastic, kind, and driven. All of these characteristics are the reason she ended up activating the Heart of Etheria.

Of course, Light Hope’s manipulation was a large factor, but Glimmer went ahead without her team’s knowledge and it led to a faster and more destructive downfall. This was one of Glimmer’s most unnerving moves of the series, but things worked out in the end because the power of their friendship is iconic on its own.

7 Bow

Bow is probably the most supportive friend of the Best Friend Squad and in all of She-Ra, and he has the funniest and most wholesome moments in the series.

He was always the one trying to bring himself, Adora, Glimmer closer together, but when it came time to introduce them to his dads, he became nervous and secretive. He was revealed to be a tech genius and even though this is true, it’s when he allows himself to be vulnerable with his friends and family and realizes he doesn’t have to hide his skills or mistakes, that he truly takes the reins.

6 A Leader

With Adora exhausted, Bow is just trying to keep the team together and get Adora to actually sleep. Mermista takes charge and is determined to not only have a plan for when Adora gets better, but to understand the situation to its fullest.

Mermista and the team need to rescue Glimmer, so she leads the Princesses into the Fright Zone in season 5, episode 2. She comes up with the plan and even though it isn’t a meticulous plan, at first, she is a casual leader but motivated.

5 Scorpia

Before Scorpia even sees the full side of things with Adora and Catra, she knows that she wants to care for Catra. She always goes to great lengths to assist her friends and when she realizes that the Princesses are not the enemies, they all go on an underwater mission together and she takes the stage, literally.

Scorpia is strong, kind, and loyal, but she can also sing and she still maintains her perfect level of awkwardness while doing so. She sings her heart out as a distraction and helps everyone escape.

4 Shadow-Weaver

In season 2, the episode entitled “Light-Spinner” gave fans Shadow-Weaver’s backstory and it is easily one of the most intriguing aspects of her role in the building and destruction of Bright Moon & The Horde.

She later sacrificed herself for Catra’s sake and it was a hot topic amongst fans who thought that this was either her moment of redemption or that it meant that she would never be redeemed because even this action was selfish.

3 Entrapta

In season 5, episode 2, Mermista leads the Princesses to a tower to rescue Glimmer. Entrapta’s goal is to hack into the surveillance system and help them get Glimmer out, but also to understand the science behind the Horde’s new intel and security.

The team gets mad at her because she is more focused on science rather than their safety. This is an iconic moment for her because it is not only one of her most vulnerable scenes with her friends and herself, but also is one of the most sacrificial things she does after seeing so many of the other characters go to the rescue of their friends.

2 Wrong Hordak

Wrong Hordak wasn’t a main character in the beginning, but when he was introduced, he captured fans’ hearts with his inquisitive nature and attempts to “fit in.”

His most iconic moment was when he learned about winking. He denied having facial emotion at first, but once he got the hang of winking, he couldn’t stop.

1 Frosta

In season 2, Adora is using mini models on a map to lay out the plan. The Princesses get a little enthusiastic and each tells their own tale of how the rescue could happen, leading Frosta to tell the story of “Frostbite Winter’s bane” – which is just Frosta in an ice suit she makes from her powers that make her extra strong and tall for battle.

A close second iconic moment for Frosta is in season 5 when she is sitting around the campfire with her fists of ice saying she will simply rescue Glimmer and win the battle by punching Horde Prime.
