Summer House: Why Lindsay Hubbard Thinks Carl Radke Is ‘The One’

Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke of Summer House have made their relationship status official, and Lindsay shared that she thinks Carl is “The One.” Lindsay and Carl were friends since season 1 of Summer House and they attempted to date in season 4, but the two were just not on the same page. Lindsay wanted more from Carl but Carl wasn’t ready to fully commit yet. After a disastrous sushi dinner date that ended up with them yelling at each other, they decided they were better off as friends.

In Summer House season 5, Carl opened up about his sobriety journey. Following the death of his brother, he explained how he went into a downward spiral. He took some time off to go to Mexico, during which he focused on yoga, meditation, and a healthier lifestyle. During Summer House season 6, Carl and Lindsay remained good friends but it was revealed that the two started rekindling their romance after the season ended. To Summer House fans’ delight, Carl confirmed that he and Lindsay were in a relationship early on in January.

Lindsay recently shared on Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap” (via Access at YouTube) that Carl is “The one.” Although Carl and Lindsay both entered Summer House season 6 very single, Lindsay admitted that they had no desire to rekindle their romance. She shared that she enjoyed her summer playing the field and that she wouldn’t have changed anything. However, towards the end of the summer, she said that something just “clicked” between her and Carl. She also hinted that fans will see that moment play out on Summer House.

Lindsay credits working on herself over the past year as the reason why she’s able to be in a strong and stable relationship. She shared that she went to therapy and focused on bettering herself. She commended Carl for doing the work on himself as well, and although they had very different and separate journeys, they eventually found that they were able to be in a healthy relationship. Lindsay admitted that it was a “long journey” to get to where she and Carl are now, but she credits the universe and timing for things falling into place.

When asked about the future, Lindsay revealed that they don’t talk about serious things, such as babies and a possible engagement. However, she said that they are on the same page about wanting the same things for their future together. They want to go the distance as a couple. Lindsay shared that she wants things to happen naturally, rather than putting pressure on their relationship. She believes that Carl has always been “The One,” and when the universe is ready for things to progress, it’ll just happen.
