Survivor: The 10 Most Dominant Players, Ranked By Immunity Wins

There have been a lot of players that have become the ultimate Survivor on CBS’s long-running hit reality competition. One way to truly recognize who the most dominant players in the history of the series are is by seeing just how many immunity wins they have under their belt.

It can be tough to survive the elements the show puts the contestants through, but by consistently winning immunity, thus making them safe from elimination, they have proven that they can survive the most difficult challenges the show throws at them. Here are the players who have dominated immunity challenges in Survivor.

10 Chrissy Hofbeck – 4 Wins

Season 35 may have brought the heroes, healers, and hustlers to a showdown in Fiji, but Chrissy Hodbeck proved that she was all of those and then some when it came to the immunity challenges.

Hofbeck won four challenges during the season, which was tops in the season, and very nearly got her across the finish line. Unfortunately, it didn’t, but her four immunity challenge wins certainly makes the case that she is one of the series’ stronger contestants.

9 Colby Donaldson – 5 Wins

Colby Donaldson made his first appearance on Season 2 of Survivor and would go on to make two other appearances on the series in Seasons 8 and 20.

Along the way, Donaldson picked up five wins in the immunity challenges, but it wasn’t enough to get him to the finish line, finishing as the runner-up in The Australian Outback (Season 2) and being eliminated in both All-Stars (Season 8) and Heroes vs. Villians (Season 20).

8 Kim Spradlin – 5 Wins

A fierce competitor, there wasn’t much doubt that she had the skills to be the Ultimate Survivor of Season 24 (One World), and she did just that. Spradlin appeared in the latest Survivor season, Winners at War, and though she came in 9th place, she added to her immunity challenge dominance and has a total of five wins under her belt.

Though she went out in Winners at War, her legacy as one of the dominant contestants in the history of Survivor has already been secured.

7 Terry Deitz – 5 Wins

He became one of the “exiled” contestants on Season 12’s Panama: Exile Island and would come back for another stab at Survivor glory in Cambodia in Season 31.

Between the two seasons, he was featured, Deitz picked up five wins in the immunity challenges, ranking him up there with some of the more dominant contestants in the history of the series.

6 Mike Holloway – 5 Wins

While the previous two contestants picked up their wins over the span of multiple seasons, Halloway’s immunity challenge wins all came from the same season.

Season 30: Worlds Apart, was where Holloway shined the most, and he walked away from the Ultimate Survivor of the season, beating out Carolyn Rivera and Will Sims II in Nicaragua.

5 Brad Culpepper – 5 Wins

There was very little question that Brad Culpepper’s survival skills were going to make him a front-runner for Season 27, Blood vs. Water.

He got all the way to the final two, losing out to Tyson Apostol, but he was a dominant force in the immunity challenges. That continued in Season 34, and between the two, he won five challenges to keep himself safe from his torch being put out.

4 Spencer Bledsoe – 6 Wins

We first saw Spencer Bledsoe in Season 28, Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty, and although he didn’t win the season, he proved that he was a competitor in the immunity challenges.

He reappeared on the Survivor scene three years later, gunning for a second chance in Cambodia. He became one of the runner-ups but didn’t get his second chance. However, he did pick up six immunity wins, making him one of the dominant players in the game.

3 Joe Anglim – 6 Wins

Joe Anglim may not have won a Survivor season (yet), but that doesn’t mean that he wasn’t a force to be reckoned with in the seasons he was in.

Between his Season 31 debut (Worlds Apart) and his Season 31 (Second Chance) appearance, Anglim becomes one of the top winners of immunity, racking up six wins over a two-season span, which he could add to his total if he’s ever invited back onto the series.

2 Ozzy Lusth – 7 Wins

There are few reservations that Ozzy Lusth is one of the greatest contestants in the history of Survivor. We first saw him in Season 13 (Cook Islands), coming in second place.

He would compete in three other seasons after Cook Islands, and although he didn’t walk away from the winner in either season, he did establish himself as an immunity challenge powerhouse, taking home an astounding seven wins over his four-season (and counting) run on the series.

1 Boston Rob Mariano – 9 Wins

Mention Boston Rob to Survivor fans, and many would tell you he is one of the greatest players of all-time. Mariano appeared in six seasons, winning Redemption Island in 2011.

However, his greatest achievements in the series came in the immunity challenges, as he currently holds the show’s record for most immunity challenge wins with nine under his belt. Truth to be told, when it comes to immunity challenges, Boston Rob Mariano is a person to be feared.
