Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys is a show packed with morally confused characters, but superhero Starlight is unique in that she’s the most genuine of all of them. Her commitment to saving the world despite the inherent corruption of the superhero system is certainly appreciable, and she’s a protagonist that is very easy to root for.

10 Fabibi World Cosplay
The lovely Fabibi World Cosplay shines in this excellent cosplay of Starlight, filled with the same joyful energy and persistent ambition that got the character into the Seven.
The hair is incredible, a dead-ringer for the character’s signature style, and the outfit looks exactly like the one featured in the series. Any way you slice it, this cosplay is a talent-filled effort that’s not going to be easy to top.

Taking a single step forward, Samathas_cosplay nails Starlight’s design right down to the tiniest detail while also giving a confident but cautious look that shows she has what it takes to be a hero … even if the line between heroes and villains is blurred. Jmw_photography_59’s excellent camera work uses focus and angles to further cement this sentiment.
Additionally, Starlight’s costume looks amazing, and it truly encapsulates the things that are best about the character.

Cosplayer cc_builds proves her dedication to her craft with this incredible take on Starlight that shows while flashy effects and professional photography can greatly improve how a particular cosplay is presented, the cosplayer’s talent is ultimately most important.
In this case, the design looks perfect for Starlight already, but the cosplayer’s energy is what takes it the extra mile.

There’s no question that Armoredheartcosplay is professional at what she does. She’s uniquely gifted with the ability to step into basically any role that she has a firm understanding of, aided by her precision and confidence.
Hence, her Starlight cosplay feels built on its meticulous attention to the character’s design (something that can be credited at least in part to cosplayer Minakess, who loaned her the outfit). With the added merits of Geekstrong’s photography, she can put yet another character on the list of cosplays she’s aced.
6 Minakess
While Minakess is a pretty amazing cosplayer herself, this incredible shot shows exactly why she makes such a good Starlight — she’s equipped with the character’s charismatic radiance.
This picture, in particular, might be the best of her many outings as Starlight because it was photographed by the talented Stephan Fleet, a VFX supervisor on The Boys who would know best of anybody how the character should look.
5 Danielle DeNicola
It’s clear that Danielle DeNicola stuns with her remarkable take on the Seven’s most heroic hero here. It ticks off every box necessary to make the perfect Starlight cosplay and exudes the toughness the character is known for.
The costume is spectacular, the level of detail in the hair and makeup is unbelievable, and the cosplayer does a swell job of capturing their character’s bright personality. Photographer David Love, a frequent collaborator of DeNicola’s, adds the perfect amount of both style and characterization with his additions to the piece.
4 Hannah_in.wonderland
Cosplayer Hannah_in.wonderland is a shoo-in for Starlight, and not just because of her picture-perfect costume (designed by Cosmanles, with alterations and additions made by both her and Arjuncreations) or the particularly praiseworthy photography from Food and Cosplay.
It’s more because of the way the cosplayer carries herself as if putting on a performance as her character. It really adds something to the way the cosplay is perceived and, even if subconsciously, makes the cosplayer seem even more like the character than she may actually be.

Cosplayer Tesslala rocks the Starlight look with this impressive selfie, stepping into the role as very few can.
She describes herself in her Reddit bio as a “Rookie cosplayer,” but that might be selling herself short. Even if her cosplay isn’t the most inventive, she more than makes up for it because she’s such a perfect fit for the character.

Philidelphia-based cosplayer Sarahchucosplay poses here as Starlight at her most bewitching, playing the part in full with a stunning outfit design from Procosplay that she does an excellent job of advertising.
The photography by it.is.cosplay doesn’t just live up to its name; it exceeds it by making something that’s not just cosplay, but art as well.
1 AtropaAiluros
Starlight’s down-to-earth persona is perhaps her most identifiable trait, and no cosplay captures that better than this one from Reddit user AtropaAiluros.
It’s far more experimental than other cosplays, and it’s not quite as polished or professional photography-wise, but those things are actually the keys to its success. It clicks with Starlight, matching her sincerity in a way the more decorated and indulgent cosplays can’t.
