Chantel and Pedro Jimeno might be more focused on Pedro’s family issues than starting a family of their own on The Family Chantel, but the Everett family has just expanded with the birth of Angenette and Royal’s first son. Chantel’s brother and his wife chose not to appear on The Family Chantel season 3, while the family also confirmed that the couple refused to speak with them. However, Angenette shared news of her pregnancy in July and just revealed to 90 Day Fiancé franchise fans that she has given birth to her first child.
Angenette and Royal were regulars on The Family Chantel season 2. After Pedro was accepted into the Everett family, matriarch Karen joined Chantel in being highly suspicious of Royal’s Filipina partner. The two women were called out by 90 Day Fiancé fans for being unkind and meddling, while Royal was also slammed for bad-mouthing Angenette behind her back and fueling the tension from his family. Despite this, Angenette married Royal in The Family Chantel season 2 finale. Many viewers understand why Angenette wants distance from her in-laws, as they constantly grilled her and disrespected her relationship with Royal, even at her wedding to him.
Angenette took to her Instagram Story, @angenette_wylie, to reveal the birth of her son. She shared an image of herself holding her baby boy without his face shown. On Reddit, Mastuda3 shared Angenette’s pictures to Reddit to announce the big news. “Congratulations 🎉 to Angenette and Royal who had their baby this week ♥🍼 Mother Karen and Father Thomas are grandparents now! yay🥰 👏,” the user wrote. While Angenette has received support during her pregnancy, viewers noted that Angenette and Royal now live a very private life outside of the spotlight. Therefore, some fans were unaware that she was pregnant until the birth announcement was made, even though she revealed her pregnancy on Instagram over the summer.
Though Angenette has earned fan sympathy for the way she was treated, many viewers remain highly skeptical of Karen’s notoriously bad behavior. “I wonder what conspiracy theory Mother Chantel would come up with about a days old infant,” one commenter wrote. Other users speculated about the couple’s choice to purchase military-associated baby clothing, though some fans explained that Royal had served in the military. “I actually like them together. Of course they had issues but the Family Chantel really made it worse. I wish them all the best,” one supportive commenter wrote. Others echoed similar kind words to the new parents.
While Angenette was thrilled to have her son in her arms, it’s uncertain when the Everett family members will meet her baby boy. As far as The Family Chantel viewers know, Royal and Angenette still aren’t on speaking terms with his family, except for perhaps his sister Winter, who congratulated them during the pregnancy. However, the TLC reality show was believed to have been filmed many months ago. Though nothing on Instagram confirms it, there is a possibility that Royal and his family made up off-camera. After all, Angenette and Royal just provided Karen and Thomas with their first grandchild. Meanwhile, many Family Chantel viewers are curious if Pedro and Chantel will do the same.
