The Flash Season 6: 10 Best Episodes, According To IMDB

Since the abrupt Season 6 finale of CW’s hit series The Flash premiered on May 12th, the show has left fans with several questions. Due to COVID-19, production was forced to shut down before the final three or four episodes could be filmed. As such, producers scrambled to find a way to end the series on a riveting note by pitting Barry against Eva and the Mirrorverse.

Although Season 6 was truncated, producers promise that it will make the arc of Season 7 even stronger when it returns next January. Until then, here are the 10 best episodes of The Flash Season 6, according to IMDB!

10 Kiss Kiss Beach Breach (Episode 5) 7.7/10

When Barry and Iris enjoy a vacation getaway, Cisco is left to run the show. However, his confidence in replacing Barry is shattered when learning of Cynthia’s murder.

Breacher informs Cisco that a hacker named Echo killed Cynthia, leading to a joint search for the culprit’s identity. Cisco is shocked to learn that Echo is his own Doppelganger from Earth-19. As Cisco ensnares Echo and has him arrested, Joe finds Nash in the sewer ways where they become trapped until Ralph saves the day.

9 There Will Be Blood (Episode 4) 7.8/10

With the news that Barry must die in Crisis in order for everyone else he loves to survive, Cisco is prepared to take the reins and lead Team Flash. Unable to accept the news, however, he mounts a sneaky plan to save Barry’s life instead.

Meanwhile, Rosso continues to steal blood for his cure. Barry invades Eva McCulloch’s lab and finds a serum that could save Rosso’s life. When it doesn’t work, however, Rosso murders several people during a hospital attack.

8 Liberation (Episode 17) 7.9/10

Barry finally becomes weary of Iris’s strange behavior. With the help of Cecile, the discover Kamilla’s intel on the Mirrorverse. Even so, Eva tricks the team into believing Barry is the phony one.

Inside the Mirrorverse, Iris discovers Eva’s ruse but is captured when trying to escape. Iris is forced to give Rosso’s blood to Eva, which further injures Barry. When Barry emerges from the coma and begins to heal, he and Iris vow to continue fighting for each other. When Caitlin suffers hypothermia during her fight with Sunshine, she decides to visit her mom as a result.

7 Grodd Friended Me (Episode 13) 7.9/10

After Crisis, the timelines in The Flash multiverse become jumbled beyond recognition. As such, an old foe in the form of Grodd comes back to wreak havoc on Central City. Grodd tells Barry he plans to peacefully return to Gorilla City, but Barry remains suspicious. When it turns out Grodd was telling the truth, Barry teams up with the beast to defeat Solovar.

Elsewhere, Iris and Eva continue their escape attempts from the Mirrorverse. Also, Nash continues to manifest his own Doppelgangers, including Sherloque Wells.

6 The Exorcism Of Nash Wells (Episode 15) 8.0/10

With Thawne overtaking Nash’s body, Team Flash set outs to exorcise the villain from his being. When Cisco builds a device to do so, he enters Nash’s mind with Barry and Cecile to learn that Thawne is feeding on Nash’s past trauma and using Allegra’s double, Maya, to defeat him.

Once Thawne is ejected from Nash’s body, Eva dispatches Mirror versions of Iris and Kamilla to steal a piece of tech from Mercury Labs. Once there, they realize a black-hole creator called Sunshine has already stolen the part. Sunshine is ultimately arrested, but not before Frost nearly dies due to Flash’s decreased speed.

5 A Flash Of The Lightning (Episode 2) 8.0/10

Barry attempts to uncover what really happened to him during Crisis, but his ability to time travel is thwarted by an anti-matter wall. When he’s redirected to Earth-3 instead, Barry witnesses billions of timelines and discovers the only way to save everyone he loves to sacrifice his own life.

Meanwhile, Cecile takes on a case involving Allegra, a meta whose motives and morals aren’t too clear. Cecile believes Allegra is as innocent as her powers suggest, causing a rift between her and Joe about how to conduct her job.

4 Death Of The Speed Force (Episode 14) 8.2/10

Wally West returns to Central City to berate Barry for Oliver increasing his speed during Crisis. This results in the death of the Speed Force, meaning all speedsters will be stripped of their powers forever.

Cisco creates Velocity-X, a device to slow the powers of Frida Novikov, aka Turtle II. Once Joe arrests Frida as a result, Cisco is accosted by Eobard Thawne, now in control of Nash’s body but not his superhuman skills. Team Flash jails Thawne in the pipeline, but he claims to still have access to the Negative Speed Force.

3 The Last Temptation Of Barry Allen Part 2 (Episode 8) 8.1/10

With Barry incapacitated, Rosso overruns Central City by turning most of its citizens into his blood brothers and sisters. Cisco and Iris argue over how to save Barry, with both of their initial plans failing to work.

After remembering Barry’s last mission, Cisco and Iris use a blend of Rosso’s blood, Allegra’s abilities, and the particle accelerator to reverse Rosso’s plan and quell his threat. Rosso then morphs into a Blood Monster with vengeance on the mind until Flash locks him in Chester’s jail.

2 The Last Temptation Of Barry Allen Part 1 (Episode 7) 8.7/10

When Ralph’s blood is siphoned by Rosso, Barry tries to revive him with a blood transfusion at STAR Labs. However, a portion of Rosso’s blood enters Barry’s body and begins to slowly deteriorate all of his abilities, including his speed.

Cisco and Frost nurse Barry back to health, but Iris soon realizes it’s not Barry. With an increasing infection in his bloodstream, Barry attacks his own team members and answers Rossos as his superior. With Rosso ready to execute his master plan, Crisis looms large.

1 Crisis On Infinite Earth: Part Three (Episode 9) 9.0/10

The third episode of CW’s crossover Crisis event ranks the highest among all Season 6 Flash episodes, according to IMDB. While several characters from Super Girl, Bat Woman, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow are featured, Barry’s Earth-90 Doppelganger is revealed to control the anti-matter cannon that goes haywire.

With the specter of Oliver Queen lingering in purgatory, Barry seeks to destroy the cannon before it’s too late. However, Earth-90 Barry steps him and sacrifices himself instead.
