While transporting a sick girl with metaphysical gifts, Yasuke and his companions are targeted by a priest with supernatural powers. Saki receives astral plane guidance from a doctor named Morisuke (Paul Nakauchi), while Abraham’s former bounty hunters offer to help Yasuke. Both Ishikawa (Dia Frampton) and Nikita (Julie Marcus) are killed, but Saki manages to reach complete harmony with her powers, which results in The Daimyo’s demise. A full-circle post-credits scene shows Yasuke letting go of the past by not only visiting the grave of a fallen friend, Natsumaru (Ming-Na Wen), but also handing over her sword to the warrior’s surviving brother (who was saved by the Black Samurai as a child). Yasuke season 1 ends with harmony, and Yasuke season 2 will likely focus on a new adventure, possibly one from the distant past.
