Where to Find Spade Gulch Location in Grounded

After a limited reveal during the Xbox Games Showcase last week, Grounded has now released in Early Access. The survival game tasks players with exploring the world as a group of shrunken kids. Players can craft different pieces of gear to help them survive the harsh environment that they find themselves in, and they can also explore brand different areas that provide new challenges and resources.

Once players make their way through all of the current story missions for Grounded they will be introduced to a robot named BURG.L who provides them with additional challenges and missions to complete, with new ones to check out every single day. Most of these missions tend to ask the player to travel to a specific location on the map, but this can be difficult if the player doesn’t know exactly where these locations are. One of the first of these missions tasks the player with traveling to Spade Gulch, and this guide is here to show players how to complete it.

Grounded: How to Get to Spade Gulch

Spade Gulch is in the far east of the map and players will find that is (as they might assume from the name) a large gulch surrounding a spade that is embedded in the ground. Players will need to travel through deep forests of grass to get there, so they will need to be very careful. As they move east they will eventually be able to spot the spade and should head in that direction. Players will need to head into the gulch surrounding it in order to complete their objective.

Players will see a highlighted area inside the gulch that they will need to construct a trail marker on. The trail marker will need to be crafted by the player first in order to place one down. The player will need 1 clover lead, 2 plant fiber, and 2 sprigs to build themselves a trail marker to place here. After placing the marker the mission will be completed and players will have finished their very first daily mission. BURG.L will reward the player with Raw Science for their troubles which is an incredibly important resource that players will want collect as often as possible.

Grounded can be played in Early Access on PC and Xbox One.
