Who Will Be The Next Bachelorette?

With Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor coming to an end, fans have already started to speculate which Bachelor Nation star might become the next lead of The Bachelorette. With Clayton’s journey is wrapping up, the question on every fan’s lips is who will be the next The Bachelorette lead. Fortunately for impatient viewers, odds are the announcement about the next Bachelorette will come sooner than later.

Fans were shocked when it was announced that Clayton would be the next Bachelor as that casting choice was unofficially leaked before Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette had even begun to air. Alas, that’s unlikely to happen for the next season. Recently, Reality Steve updated Bachelor Nation fans that The Bachelorette season 19 will start filming the weekend after Clayton’s finale, so ABC will likely have to make the big reveal soon.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

The next Bachelorette will probably be announced on the second night of Clayton’s two-part finale on After The Final Rose. Most Bachelor and Bachelorette reveals have happened on the previous season’s ATFR specials, and this season will probably follow that same tradition. There has been no definitive word on who the next lead will be, but there are a few women who are most likely to become the new Bachelorette.

Tayshia Adams

Though there are many viewers who would be happy to get a Tayshia 2.0 season, it’s a long shot that she would say yes. However, now-single Tayshia appears to enjoy her hosting duties during the past two seasons of The Bachelorette, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if she decides to prioritize her career over her love life and turns down the chance to be the lead again.

Serene Russell

On Clayton’s season, Serene was sent home right after hometowns. As such, she could certainly be in the running for the next Bachelorette. Overall, she certainly got a good edit on the Women Tell All episode. Alas, the problematic racial biases in Bachelor Nation and Serene’s minimal social media presence make her an unlikely pick.

Rachel Recchia

Few people have thought much about Rachel being the next Bachelorette given that Clayton’s season is still ongoing. However, if Rachel doesn’t end up with Clayon at the finale, she might be considered as the next Bachelorette. While Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor was wrapping up, top-three finalist Caila Quinn had been secretly selected by the network to be the next lead. But after Bachelor Nation saw how crushed JoJo Fletcher was, ABC pivoted and gave her the job instead. The same thing could potentially happen with Rachel.

Gabby Windey

After hometowns, Gabby and her adorable grandfather became Bachelor Nation fan-favorites. As a result, her quirky charm and sense of humor could make her an exceptional Bachelorette lead if she doesn’t end up with Clayton on his season. For the time being, Gabby has already made it into Clayton’s final three women, which is usually an indication that she will be considered for the lead. Gabby would likely be a popular and safe choice, which is often what the network looks for.

Teddi Wright

Teddi is definitely an underdog pick to be chosen as the next Bachelorette, but she does have a lot of momentum and popularity behind her. Though she got the first impression rose, Teddi was cut before hometowns. Nonetheless, there have been previous Bachelorettes who have been sent home that early, such as Hannah Brown. Teddi has a fun personality and mostly stayed out of the drama this past season, so she’d be an excellent – and safe – choice for the next lead.

Susie Evans

Since she was first introduced on Clayton’s season, it seemed like Susie was getting a Bachelorette edit, and it doesn’t hurt that she looks so much like previous lead Hannah Brown. Susie has had several memorable moments this season, and for many fans, the confrontation she had with Clayton about the fantasy suites was a total “you go girl!” moment. Though there are rumors that she has a bigger part in Clayton’s finale than viewers are expecting, there’s still a good chance that Susie could be cast as the next lead of Bachelorette.

There are several great options for women within Bachelor Nation, and not just from Clayton’s season of The Bachelor. Some of the potential Bachelorettes fit the typical mold of a lead, while others would be more inclined to break that mold. Whatever that choice may be, The Bachelorette fans will surely have a lot of opinions about it.
